- Can Mario die on the World Map in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury? Is there anything that can kill Mario while he's on the World Map in this Super Mario Nintendo Switch game?
We've looked at enemies, bosses, and power-ups in the World Map in a past video, and we've even made the World Map into a custom Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury modded level, but today we look at the question: can anything kill Mario on the World Map in Super Mario 3D World, or is Mario safe on the World Map? We look at enemies, spikes, we make the floor lava, we add many bob-ombs, and more!

so this is kind of unrelated, but do you think you could make a character that has Peach's float, Rosalina's spin jump, Luigi's high jump, and Toad's speed? I've never modded this game, so I don't know if it's possible but it would be pretty cool :)

I had a couple other ideas:
1. Can Mario be crushed, perhaps by Thwomp or other means.
2. Is it possible to make the overworld map an auto-scroller, and then get left behind, either by not moving or getting stuck behind something (in case the scroll pushes you).
Kind of assuming both will fail, but just some ideas I had that could possibly warrant investigating.
Next idea: Messing around with death areas!
• Spawn points, pipes and warp boxes inside a death area
• Touching a death area while in a clear pipe
and more!

I'm guessing that the bullet bill explosion is the same as the one for soccer balls which is probably why you can defeat bowser with them

I'm not surprised he can't die, but I am surprised the results aren't consistent. Some enemies push him, some phase right through, some damage but don't kill. Pretty strange.
