  • For many years I said the European Union was the new communism...
Now they have proved it by seizing the means of production.
I hope you enjoy rewatching my battles with them over the decades...

@@matohrdlicka2905 I was being hyperbolic, apologies I’m British, I’m sarcastic by nature! Yes each country gets to elect a commissioner who are the drivers of legislation, but I don’t know about you but I’m not that trusting of politicians in the first place let alone reducing the peoples awareness of who’s running the show and possibly influenced by the institution they are voting their commissioner into and speaking on behalf of a whole nation. That’s not at all watering down democracy and I think Nigel Farage calling out the EU President, Van Rompuy is indicative of the problem… He said, he looked like a damp rag and had the charisma of a low paid bank clerk! As comical as it was, most important was his end remarks, “Who are you president? I’ve never heard of you, no one in Europe has ever heard of you, who voted for you! I’m sure you are competent, capable and dangerous and will be the quiet assassin of European democracy”! He was fined hefty for his comment. Yes Rompuy was elected but the point was he came out of nowhere, he was prime minister of Belgium for a year and if you read up on bio he went from being a staunch defender of borders in the early naughties to free for all by the time he became president of EU. - inject a little sarcasm on my last comment but I’m not exaggerating about the dilution of representation am I?

I am 73 and lived in former socialist Czechoslovakia. Of course we
can discuss what was bad or good!
Since 50s each decade was better nevertheless we had been comparing our life with western one which undisputably seemed to be better one. Today we also have reached this goal and can compare again. To be honest l would return back many times !The west isn ´t as used to be in sixties till eighties! Everything went worse. Consumer way of life is destroying society, growing bribery criminality, growing drogs addiction , aggressivity among prople and selfishness, immigration, ..
In 1969 when l was a student l worked a half year in Western Germany. It was incredible paradise on Earth at that time! Later on l have been visiting Germany many times up to now! Today, Germany, togegher with all western Europe is a disaster! Ugly and dangerous place to live! Today l believe I understand the real values of human life and difference between socialism and capitalism.

As for the Nazis, the Yellow badge was based on the six pointed star of David, the stars used by the EU have five stars. And lets not forget that history of the yellow star...something which goes back over a thousand years. But I guess its just easier to jump to conspiracy theory.

Really. The European Union is becoming more and more like the Soviet Union. But if it does happen, it will be even more disappointing. The goal is to colonize smaller countries. This is already looming large. If this were not the goal, then cooperative, free trade would be enough. On the other hand, even today, the powerful western member states dictate what the smaller eastern member states are allowed to think.
With the European Union, the countries of the former Soviet sphere fell from bucket to bucket. You can't talk about freedom and equality at all. The union goes so far as to overthrow democratically elected parties and leaders in some member states. For example, in Hungary they have been trying to do this for 12 years. This country is mercilessly blackmailed, rightfully due money is refused to be paid out with all kinds of false reasons.

That is simply not true and even the desperate Von Dr Leyen hasn't come up with that inane drivel. The truth is the EU did not secure contracts with the medicine companies because of a stipulation the EU placed in the negotiations which amongst other things was that no order was to be considered live until the EMA had passed the medicine as safe which they were very late in doing. Now I suggest you go away and find out the facts before you respond again to prevent you making an even bigger fool of yourself than you already have.

Exactly, People in the UK thinking 'Brexit' would be the solution have something else coming. Your government is just as much a part of the WEF, UN 'great reset' and 2030 agenda as the EU or pretty much any other place in the world. In the end getting out of the EU won't make any difference if your government is controlled by a group of global elites.

What a hero, and a great orator. He has no equal in modern history. Virtually, he fought the great fight alone. Sure, he had his supporter's, but none of them could carry the flag of democracy and national freedom, like Nigel Farage. Sadly, although he slayed the dragon of traitors, there are still some, who would rob him, of his just rewards. May history, remember him justly.

Farage is bats. Eurocorps is nothing new - it was formed in 1992! He throws accusations around like snuff at a wake. The EU must be thanking God they no longer have to suffer this obnoxious racist's rants. But he's not so principled as to give up his EU pension which he has taken for doing nothing except trying to undermine the EU. What's he got to say about the poor fishermen who were duped by the Brexit con job? Or that exports to the EU are collapsing along with the businesses and jobs they supported.
