I dont feel the emotions on these bear hunts compared to all the other videos I've watched. was always a fan of the HUNT and the struggles behind it. looking forward to more elk hunts and the good old days and the emotional ups and downs.
When I started the video I could tell by what you guys were saying, it sounded like a sow with cubs. After hearing that I fully expected to have it covered up and made out to sound like a boar and sow or something along those lines. (I've watched you guys from the very beginning and you guys have never been ones to lie or cover up what really happened, so my thoughts of that's what was coming up were completely unjustified) it was so refreshing to hear Trent say "it was a sow with yearling cubs, which is completely legal so we took her". If you guys catch any flack for your decision to shoot I hope that you can disregard those negative comments. Biologist are there for a reason and they've determined the population of bears can withstand the current regulations. Glad a happy hunter got to fill a tag 👍 keep up the great work guys!!! After posting this I unpaused the video and realized the bear was missed, you know what I meant though lol
Appreciate the kind words ben. We’ve never been one to shy from the truth. Biologist make our laws and regulations as to how they see fit for management objectives.

Congrats to SIG's "shooter Mcgavin" on his first Oregon bear ! Oregon spot and stalk bear hunting isn't easy. It will eat good and a lot of calf elk and fawns will survive as a result of the successful hunt.
I'll keep praying for BRO to continue to have another epic season.

Great shot. Not similar to my bear hunting this year. I've been hunting hard and haven't seen a bear. Switched to salmon today and got one. Yuns are inspiring me to get back out after bears. Appreciate the content!

Trent and the born and raised outdoor crew are you going to be doing another giveaway drawing on possibly a bow, I've always wanted to learn bow hunting. the price of a good bow is pricey. i thought I would ask, love your show and hopefully someday I can go bow hunting for elk
I would recommend to start now, you don't need fancy new equipment to to hunting/ shoot. Learn their habits , learn how to traverse the wind/ brush quietly and as you can afford new gear get what you can. EDIT: Start with a camera to get some pictures, shooting with weapon or camera is really similar to get close. That alone will help with learning how they act/ wind for getting close. Just my $0.02

What happened on that first shot? I know everyone can miss, but I would be embarrassed to miss prone under 300 yards with that gun that looks like it was stolen from the set of Terminator. Maybe selling it for a Ruger American and ammo to practice with would be a good idea.

Oregon does not require hunter orange unless you are 18 or younger.

Good work on killing a bear. Not opposed to putting down a calf killer huge fan of all your videos by the way. But I don't understand why you are trying to sell that as a "good bear" when it's clearly a pretty tiny one and a relatively young one with cubs that hadn't been kicked out yet at that..
Regardless keep up with the killer content.
