@@marksavage1108 Here we go again . The Uswnt lost 7-0 to the Dallas Fc Academy team in a training game. Under 15's? yes. You are also allowed 2 players from the next age bracket up. And not just ' ordinary ' school boys, but Academy players. And it was in a practice game. There has never been a Fifa sanctioned competitive game between men and women. So a kickabout. And it was seven years ago. Not my opinion , Facts. Want me to give you the ' facts ' on the Aus game as well ? :)

And Spain ( who lost 4-0 in the groups ) won by a single goal. That, on its own, is a brilliant performance by England. Would have been amazing if they had won, but grats to Spain.

My concern is that Sarina Wiegman has less patience than Alessia Russo and, with her wealth of talent in the squad coupled with Lessie not scoring recently, she'll be sidelined. I find it frustrating that Mary Earps would rather go to ground than release the ball to her front runners in the same way as the Manchester City keeper does; seems to pay dividends and with Russo and Hemp up front surely it would be worth trying on the training field. If I'm wrong, I'll stand to be corrected.
