Haha great stuff guys, Allright, now that the complimentary bullshit is out of the way let‘s get down to bussiness. Video analysis: Part 1: Alliances Right from the get go it is clear Donovan is allied to Gomez while Johnson has some sort of deal Stevens. Case examples: @0:38 Stevens boots outGomez in favor of Johnson, this quickly gets countered by Donovan who already reached a deal with upper management to fire Stevens. Notice thathis tie is unfastened, I‘ll explain this later. @1:19 at the left side of the monitor you can see Donovan manipulating the presentation using a hp laptop to make Johnson look racist. This gets Gomez back into the game to finalize THE DEAL. However Stevens swiftly strikes back and takes back control, immediately Johnson seizes the oppurtunity gives a bussineslike blow to Gomez. He offers a pen to Stevens to cement the victory but Stevens in his infinite arrogance thinks he doesn‘t need it because they already won. He‘s quickly proven wrong by Donovan who expertly planted some coke in Stevens sleeve (remember when Donovan slapped Stevens bussiness card?). Stevens is taken away. Johnson tries to buy time with smalltalk hoping that Stevens will recover but has no other choice and he signs the deal with some trepadition. Turns out THE DEAL was changed behind his back and Gomez acquires Johnson‘s soul. Now that THE DEAL is signed there‘s only the handshake left to foramlize it. It‘s anyone game now and the previous alliances are quickly torn apart as it becomes a free for all bussiness buffet in which every party becomes incapacitated. To complete the picture I‘ll mention that the cop, upper management and Jannet is neutral and Jared is never on anyone‘s team. All right, now that the kid stuff is out of the way let‘s get down to real bussiness. Part 2:Abilities
I‘m sure they are a lot of questions viewers are asking in regards as to how these gentleman managed to achieve these logic and physics defying stunts as shown on the video. It is simply that in a cutthroat environment that is corporate ladder one developes special abilities in order to step over other colleagues heads. I‘ll explain these abilities one by one but before that I should say that their abilities all have a source of power through which they can use their powers. First of all the cop ability - teleportation. Source of power - crime. Pretty straightforward, it allows to appear instantenuosly everywhere. It‘s only perceived limitation is that he has to appear crouching behind something. Now let‘s get to the main characters abilities: Stevens - time/space manipulation. This is arguably the strongest power of the four MCs the limitaion is that he can only control space and time. His source of power are bussiness cards. Donovan knew this which is why he slapped the card when it was offered to Johnson. However I believe Johnson still acquired the card later after he kicked out Jared @1:54, I‘ll explain why later. It‘s good to mention that for a split second when Donovan touched Stevens bussiness card Stevens manages connect them to another alternate timeline and when Donovan shakes Gomez‘s hand he changes the timeline where he, Stevens , is the one shaking Gomez‘s hand. Now Gomez has to accept Stevens bussiness card by law of bussiness etiquette. Now remember when I mentioned that Johnson must have Stevens‘s bussiness card? The reason I‘m sure of this is because in the next scene it isshown that Johnson had spent a great amount playing with Gomez‘s kid. This can only have happened if Stevens used his abilities to transport Johnson back in time and then bring him back with the evidence. After Johnson sells his soul Stevens presumably steals the cop‘s gun and proceeds to teleport back to the same space location of Gomez. As he‘s being strangled he uses his ability to turn back time on Gomez‘s state by shooting him with a bullet charged with time. How does the turtle hold his bussiness card? Shut up, doesn‘t matter. In the last scene seconds before Stevens dies he has just enough energy to send one object flying into Johnson and of course he uses the very source of his power - a bussiness card. Donovan - Physical/DNA manipulation. Source of power - ties. I consider this to be the second best ability as it has a wide array of options in its usage. For example when the cop is taking Stevens away Donovan sneakily fastens the cops tie and manipulates his own DNA code to access cop‘s teleportation ability this would explain how he managed to appear behind Stevens in the last scene. Why did he not also steal Stevens ability @1:09? My guess is that Stevens power‘s genetic code was too complicated and didn‘t want to risk it.Another interesting feature of Donovan‘s power is that his own tie reflects his ability‘s charge level. The first scene we see Donovan reveals his tie to be loose, I believethis means that it took considerable energy level to convince the boys upstairs, perhaps he used physical pleasure manipulation to succeed; too little data to be sure. At the very end his tie is fastened and he is strong enough to counter Stevens time/space manipulation ability when he‘s using ‚Here: Let Me Fasten Your Tie‘. Last but not least is the amazing job he did with Johnson. If you recall Johnson sold his soul to Gomez, so how was he able to turn on Gomez, his master? Well, thing is, he wasn‘t. Donovan managed to get Johnson tie on his head behind the scenes which allowed him to send direct signals to Johnson‘s brain and do whatever he wished. Remarkable. Before we move on to Gomez and Johnson I‘d like to mention that their powers are clearly not as developed as their senior corporate members which is why their powers are not as evident but I believe I have ascertained hw they work too. Gomez - brainwash. Source of power donuts (dunkin‘ donuts only?). while the ability is called brainwash it is more of amental suggestion than mind control as it is in the early stage of development. There are few pauses in this action packed video. One of which happens when Gomez offers dunkin‘ donuts to Stevens @0:32. Notice how much Gomez wants Stevens to eat his donuts and Stevens slight hesitation. He knows that something iswrong with those donuts but they have alluring effect that he finds hard to resist. At the end he resist but someone else takes it. Johnson. What a rookie mistake. You see eating a donut muddles your mind and makes you more naive. Which is why he doesn‘t notice the blatant manipulation of presentation by Donovan and subsequently how he doesn‘t notice the clause in THE DEAL which states that he must sell his soul for 5 freshly printedUSA dollars. Another interesting affect of gomez‘s donuts appears when Johnson gets smacked in the face by one. He gets considerably more agitated than his colleagues upon arrival of Jared and pushes him out of the office with a brutal push. Overdozing on the donuts can cause an overload on the brain as is seen when Gomez stuffs Donovan‘s mouth with delicious dunkin donuts now only for a dollar ninety nine, available at y.... achem Imean donuts really mess up your mind. Johnson - witchcraft. Source of power - his pens. Johnson powers are shown the least and only at the end. Here‘s how it works similarly to Donovan he gets more magical charge the more someone uses his pens, however others seem to know this and refuse it when offered. So how does he get enough power to turn Gomez into a turtle? He charges the energy himself when he signs the deal. Power for his soul - truly a deal with the devil. Oh, by the way Gomez being turned into a turtle cancelled the contract in case you‘re wondering how he killed Gomez at the end with his pen. Lastly and certainly the least is the passive ability of Jared the intern - annoying interruption of bussiness. He was so annoying that Steve Jobs - overlord of corporate hell decided to temporarily revive his corporate minions to just shout at Jared. That‘s it really. Bonus questions: 1. Who does Johnson references when he‘s smoking his cigar? 2. How come in the begining the blinds are opne but later on they are closed? 3. How did Gomez travel so fast @1:31? Tl;dr Donovan was allied with Gomez while Stevens was allied with Johnson. They betray each other at the end. They all had abilities stemming from bussiness items. Stevens - time/space manipulation. Source of power - bussiness cards. Donovan - Physical/DNA manipulation. Source of power - ties. Gomez - brainwash. Source of power - donuts. Johnson - witchcraft. Source of power - pens.
