Taking someone's property to 'keep tabs' on them shows how little you care for their privacy or belongings. This goes both ways.(don't let someone push you around to know where you are at all times, that ain't healthy) If you so little trust in them then either you need therapy...or to find someone who feels more trustworthy. Communication is key. It's how my partner and I trust each other so well.

My ex best friend was manipulative, mean and talked so badly behind my back. It made me feel so bad about myself. But once I cut ties from those kinda of people, It made me realize my self worth.

As someone who had a toxic friend for 7 years, from kindergarten to 6th. The way that mine kept me in is by giving me some compliments, and whenever I called her out for her behavior she'd one blame me for taking it wrong and then promise to never do it again. Then the cycle would repeat. It was also that my family excpeted me to be friends with her since we we're friends for ever, literally my whole life, and I didn't want to talk about my feelings to my family, or what she did.

It's funny though, because even though I wasn't super popular, I got a senior superlative and like half the grade voted for me. It's no secret that the wedding is for the BRIDE to walk out in a gorgeous dress, be the most beautiful one in the room, to have attention on her, to be the center of attention on one of the most IMPORTANT days of her life. I had a bff who was toxic in really weird ways. Like, she was completely ride or die and always did the most thoughtful, sweetest things. She was literally like a sister. BUT she was also a total asshole to literally everyone else (even her own bf). She would be pouty and rude if she was around other people or doing anything she didn't 100% want to do. She was weirdly such a caring friend while also being the most stressful person to be around. Our friendship kind of fizzled out after she moved away, and while I miss having such a close friend, my life is a thousand times less stressful. I still don't quite know how to process it lol
I feel like talking to someone when it's convenient isn't toxic in the context of having boundaries and you both being busy. If they blew you off when you needed support because it wasn't convenient, that's different and what I would consider unhealthy and toxic.

After I tried it on my friend practically forced me to buy it cuz she liked how it looked. We both bought it and purposely wore it on the same exact day of our vacation together. I don't understand people who are close whether friends or siblings and have an issue with matching.

I went through soooo many toxic relationships and I'd like to add to this conversation the fact that a person can be toxic and at the same time acknowledge the fact that they're not being good to their friends. My last toxic friendship had me going through rlly bad days and i will never try to keep someone genuinely bad for me in my life for this long, but i DO know that they were just trying their best while being insecure af and having many problems. That doesnt mean that i, or you, or ANYBODY should e v e r put up with other people's shit cause we dont know anybody ANYTHING. Respecting your boundaries and triggers comes before everything, and protecting yourself from disfunctional behaviour is extremely important for your well being - while you can still validate where it comes from.

As someone who had a toxic friend for 7 years, from kindergarten to 6th. The way that mine kept me in is by giving me some compliments, and whenever I called her out for her behavior she'd one blame me for taking it wrong and then promise to never do it again. Then the cycle would repeat. It was also that my family excpeted me to be friends with her since we we're friends for ever, literally my whole life, and I didn't want to talk about my feelings to my family, or what she did.

I had a bff who was toxic in really weird ways. Like, she was completely ride or die and always did the most thoughtful, sweetest things. She was literally like a sister. BUT she was also a total asshole to literally everyone else (even her own bf). She would be pouty and rude if she was around other people or doing anything she didn't 100% want to do. She was weirdly such a caring friend while also being the most stressful person to be around. If they're toxic, I think they'd avoid confrontation and listening to what the boyfriend has to say. At that point, if I were this tiktok person, I'd pity the boyfriend, and then tell him for his sake to have a better choice in girlfriends, and then I think I'd regret my own choice of friends. This is very complicated, and wouldn't happen if they chose better friends, and WERE better friends. Be trustworthy, and choose trustworthy people, and this doesn't happen.

My best friend and I went on a vacation together and went shopping for clothes before hand. My friend tried on a romper and I liked it and thought she looked gorgeous. I wanted to try it on just to see if I liked how rompers looked on me but didn't plan on buying it since she was already getting it. After I tried it on my friend practically forced me to buy it cuz she liked how it looked. We both bought it and purposely wore it on the same exact day of our vacation together. I don't understand people who are close whether friends or siblings and have an issue with matching.
Reminded me about my ex best friend honestly, she had this whole thing where she practically hated us matching with the same color so anytime I wanted to do one specific color for us all to match (it was 3 of us at that time) she would complain and then ask for another color.
My friends did that for our last year of middle school but we did Maroon and we looked fabulous ✨

I have nothing against insulting your friends but my ex friend told me that my now bestfriend deserves to get called fat and dumb because earlier in the year she called her a slut. She even said she could laugh it off as a joke. When me and her got into an argument about her saying she can laugh her shit off as a joke, she told me she didn't say it. I’m 15 now. :// I wish it didn’t turn out this way but it did. I had hope for a reconciliation until she threw a bunch of insults at me and said that she shouldn’t have helped me feel better when I was depressed. I don’t think we can ever be friends again. :(((( I’m still sad about it even though it’s been 4 months and idk if I’ll ever get over it.

So I had an ex friend who offered us in the group chat her Starbucks. And whoever answered first got it. And one time she asked me if I wanted to go with her to the store to get stuff for our friend's birthday cake. And I drove her there and she bought the supplies for it. And a month later she said I owed her money for the stuff she bought to make the cake. Which I never ended up getting to help her make and that she paid for HERSELF using my gasss and when she added up the total, she said I owed her 80 dollars. I told my dad and he was furious so I put 20 bucks in an envelope, drove to her house, handed it to her and never talked to her again. 80 bucks my ass
