Do your research, this guy is an amazing songwriter. He writes with passion and performs every gig like he's performing at Wembley stadium. You never go home short changed. Followed his career since 1985 and met him a few times, absolute gent!
Saw him a couple of months ago supporting Damien Dempsey at H2O in Birmingham. Immediately after the show bought all his CD's from the lobby lol. I'd pay money to watch him live again. And as others have mentioned, super nice guy, chatted with him after the show.

@TheRichardSagawa A bit harsh fella, a least Dave can belt out a tune- this song is a great anthem for Liverpool, its Irish roots and I was there to see this live, a great tribute.
