NA5600 Sodium Analyzer: How to take a grab sample

This demonstration will show you how to do a grab sample on the NA5600 Sodium Analyzer. The sample can be an unknown or a standard for verification. The measurement takes place in the overflow cell and is measured by the sodium electrode. Go to menu, grab sample verification, select yes to interrupt current measurement mode, select grab sample, press enter to continue. The overflow cell will flush, refill, and flush again. After this second flush it will give you an opportunity to add the remaining sample that you want to measure. Remove flow level and pour in your sample, replace flow, and press enter. You will now get a live reading showing time left, current concentration, and sample temperature. Final results will display and you will be given a choice to taken an additional reading. Every grab sample reading will be stored in data log for later review.
