for anyone who has played the old games knows how much of an overhaul this remix is couple that with the fact that one of my favorite styles of music is funk this not only gets my seal of approval but also the title of funk-tastic well played That Andy Guy
I can't believe anyone else remembers this game. This was a major battle between my family and I, each of us rushing to see who could make it further in the game than the others. We were very competitive.
+Kain Yusanagi Oh trust me, the graphics are the *least* of its issues. So many puzzles were just mind-numbing and repetitive work, or forced you to make blind guesses that would, in many cases, force you to do the level all over again for your lack of foreknowledge. Let me list some of the most egregious sinners: #23 Blobnet: Time your movement right to snatch a computer chip without getting eaten by a blob. Now do that again _eighty-seven times._ #46 Three Doors: Start by making a blind guess as to which of three icy lanes won't lead you to instant death. Then at the very end of a 2-minute level, you make _another_ blind choice between three paths, and if you pick the wrong one, you have to start all over again! #47 Pier Seven: With a supply of exactly seven blocks, make a bridge to the center of a lake. Problem is, there's literally only one location where such a bridge is possible, and your field of vision is much too small to let you survey the area, so unless you download a full map of the level, you are NOT going to have a fun time trying to find the one path that works. #60 Rink: Even though there's no time limit and nothing to kill you, it's incredibly annoying and incredibly tedious. You have to slide wildly across the ice to test out which walls are real and which are fake, with no clues as to which is which. Again, because of the tiny screen size, keeping track of where you're going and where you've been is just a pain in the ass. And because of the strange way you move about the level, it's easy to overlook paths you haven't tried yet. #81 Writer's Block: You have to gather 56 chips using exactly 61 pushable blocks. Not only is this challenge excessively long, but without any checkpoints or safety nets in place, a single misstep forces you to restart the level, putting you constantly on edge all throughout. #87 Cityblock: Take all the problems of Writer's Block, give it a time limit, and make the level layout even more convoluted. I could go on (in fact I've only covered about 60% of the game's length), but these particular levels showcase the worst examples of problems that constantly rear their ugly head in some form or another throughout the game.
FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN'T LIKE THIS REMIX I ONLY HAVE ONE WORD FOR YOU......................bummer.

Hmm I'm pretty sure I was quite close to the end, and I was just a small child :3
For anyone that cares (to replay the game) BOTH Chip's Challenge 1 & 2 are on Steam.
It's three years later but THANKS!!
I had Chip's Challenge on the Atari Lynx. Was the best game on the system for sure. Pretty sure it was the best version too
The password HUVE brings you to the stage "Blobnet." That's a thing I remember about this game.

Has anyone actually beat this game? I got far but never beat it
Some of the levels are excruciatingly tedious or nearly impossible to complete without previous knowledge.
It _really_ hasn't aged well at all.
Disagree; it's aged really well, since it's a puzzle game. So what if the graphics aren't amazing?
