3:58 Now that I came into thinking , I know floor 1 is blocked but I could use car preferance to go there. I will show you video soon , possibly next week. By the way , they modernized this red lift
+Archie Crank That key looks pretty secure. It may even be a custom key. A more easy way would be to force the door open between floors, the generic logic will then reset to the lowest floor. Or if that fails if I had a friend with me they could surf the lift down there with me in it, but all of my friends don't are not the sort of people that would do this.
Thanks for another brilliant video. On my first visit to The Barbican Centre back in September 2004 I had to go in the Guideline lifts because the stairs were actually closed off that day. I seem to recall there was a notice inside one of the lifts instructing users not to get out on one of the floors. Either that or it was one of the lifts that didn't serve all the levels. Did you see anything like this?
It's funny watching one of your videos that's so old. You sound so young.
Have you tried to ride the lifts in the flats again?
That very superb guide of elevators to find!!!
British lifts seem to be more informational that American lifts. Most of ours are silent. That last one had lights around the door.
I went to the barbican recently and not much has changed really it just looks posher cuz of the Barbican music hall next to it
4:26 they are ILE lifts they run at 1.5m/s a medium speed

Is the als lift still broken or it got replaced/modernized?
1:57 why is floor cp locked
+Beno 1:57 DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHY CAR PARK IS LOCKED OFF?
+Archie Crank I think it is a private car park.
+Beno GET A KEY TO IT THEN!

Why the kone ecodisc elevator doesn't say their kone voice?
+vincent payawal Are you referring to the first Ecodisc? This is a first gen ecodisc. The brake sounds different to 2nd gen. It has the older voice.
