That was a great hike Richard . You probably walked twice as far going back and forth with your camera shots and as usual cloudy at the top . That foot bridge is quiet big just to carry hikers , i didn't see any other hikers at the time of your hike , did you cut them out or just you around that day . The wildlife shots good too :-)

Although there was no commentary but it adds to the atmosphere of the hike and really create the feeling of solo hiking. And its rather therapeutic to view it. Hope to see more videos of this style in future!
How luck you were! you filmed the male pheasant so close on the top. The pheasant is as rare as the one shown on a bill of 1000, and quite similar to it.
Nice hike! The sound of the cicadas is very loud as if welcoming you. Haha. Love your chance encounter with the pheasant! The new format should help you save some energy while hiking. No matter what format, it's the content that's interesting!
I did some search and found something interesting, many people reported that they had spot a male Swinhoe's Pheasant at the top of Tiger Mountain that is totally unafraid of human presence. I think it's the same one you spotted during your trip.

The mountain hike is interesting but look scary to be alone.There are all types of insects.How do you prevent yourself from insects bites.Do you carry a Swiss Army knife or a small knife.Just invade for self defence.

Not really. There are usually a few people around. I never bother with insect repellent (even in Singapore). If you keep moving you don't get bitten.
