    Thanks Tom, I'm completing an MPhil thesis on aspects of William Blake's poetry with a lot of experience analysing poetry. Honestly, reducing a single poem to one single glib line which you could legitimately challenge - as I've found with some so-called interpretive poetry questions. Only someone who wasn't a literary scholar could even suggest simplistic 10 word "summing up". If the authors were dead they'd be rolling in their graves! Let's hope the more objective identification of poetic devices is favoured!

      +The Medical Method No no I really don't think you understand, actually maybe you do. I don't know about you but for me a lot medicines appeal comes from the chance to help people and make a difference and you just made that difference in my life with just a couple of videos so that I can hopefully make a difference to other people too. Just think about that for a second… seriously. Think of all the people you will help in your career and then add the people I'll help (and you do get credit for them cause without these videos I'm not sure I'd have the confidence or knowledge to sit the test) Never under estimate the significance of what you are doing here! You're helping people to help people and that makes you just about the best thing thats happened to a lot of people now and in the future.

    Hi Tom! Awesome videos you have. I watch this the night before my GAMSAT exam so hopefully I can remember all these tips and tricks. The books on your shelf are very med-like and I was wondering did you actually read them for your S3 GAMSAT prep?

      Dah Dah scored 65, i made sooo many mistakes in my studying leading up to the exam. Disappointed tbh, i will be resitting it in 2017, i am currently in my third and last year in my undergrad so it was a practice run more than anything. My study was very inefficient to say the least.

      That's still a great score man, hold your chin up high. Yeah absolutely, if you know where you went wrong then I bet you're going to go great next time around. I'm sitting in september with minimal prep and march with more prep myself.

    Could you do a segment on other fiction types (e.g. plays/stories) etc as most science students struggle more with fiction as opposed to non-fiction?

    I have a silly question to ask.do you know by any chance how they mark section 1 and 3. for example, if I scored 50% right, what will be roughly my score? thanks alot

    • @TheMedicalMethod
      @TheMedicalMethod  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there,
      That's the ultimate question haha. They mark everyone, then rank the scores and put them on a normal distribution to get your scores. However a rule of thumb is that the score out of 110 roughly equivalences to your actual score, for S3 and, S1 score plus 10 is roughly the score you end up with.

    • @MrKamelovski
      @MrKamelovski 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Does that mean if I get 55 out of 110 in s3 , I'll get a score of 65 in that section? A more stupid question.... Lol. I am just among those who will resist the exam in WA :)

    • @TheMedicalMethod
      @TheMedicalMethod  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      No +10 for S1 and as is for S3, IE: 55/110 will be a 55.
