  • In this sermon from James 3:1-12, Pastor Mark talks about the power of the tongue and that, in the flesh, it wants to destroy us and we can use it for evil. But, the Holy Spirit can transform our tongue so we can use it for good.

Thanks so much for speaking this truth. My husband and I were just talking about how Pharisaical I can be. Of course I never want to be judgmental or hurt the gospel by misrepresenting Jesus! Today as I wanted to share how we as godly women need to be more modest and teach our children to be modest and treasure the gift God has given them. Long story short I tend to point my finger instead of including myself and pointing to a loving God who just wants better! Anyway, your sermons are convicting and PERFECT as always! Thank you and God bless

I was talking to God and I said I am completely alone now. And then I cried and turned up my radio. The song oh my soul fro. Casting crowns came on which LITERALLY said, you are NOT alone.
God is real. He listens. Even though my heart is shattered...he stays with me every time.

It will not be without interest to recall here. Joseph’s marriage contained in the apocryphal writings. When forty years of age, Joseph married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they lived 49 years together and had six children, two daughters and four sons, the youngest of whom was James (the Less, “the Lord’s brother”). A year after his wife’s death, as the priests announced through Judea that they wished to find in the tribe of Judah a respectable man to espouse Mary, then 12 to 14 years of age. Joseph, who was at the time 90 years old, went up to Jerusalem among the candidates; a miracle manifested the choice God had made of Joseph, and two years later the Annunciation took place. I am really into getting deeper into, Catechism, in the church of Lutheran, that was in Australia, age 10 a wonderful thorough terrific teacher,

The Gospel of James states that Mary remained a life-long virgin, because Joseph was an old man who married her without physical desire, and the brothers of Jesus mentioned in the canonical gospels are explained as Joseph's sons by an earlier marriage. The text is framed as an explanation by Jesus on the Mount of Olives concerning the life of Joseph, his stepfather. Agreeing with Mary's continued virginity, the text proclaims that Joseph had four sons (Judas, Justus, James, and Simon) and two daughters (Assia and Lydia) by a previous marriage.

Billy Graham was a truly nasty man | by Jonathan Poletti

He was as 'godly' as it got in post-War Protestant America. A Southern Baptist traveling evangelist from North Carolina seemed nearly divine.
