Lmao… I was talking to some people as it seems that the FNDM is in a major rollercoaster with her as a character… Funny enough (I am caught up to V7) I actually like her character… she’s definitely entertaining to watch… But not more entertaining than my man Torchwick, he truly had his charisma stat maxxed out… -Nekko
Some people love base villainy villains, you never know lol. Arguably there's issues with her as a character, on top of just not liking her as a person maybe, but some people still really like that type of character.
@@KitsyX My only issue is how they wrote her backstory. No spoilers of course, but I think that it’s assumed by now that most villains in modern media have a sob story to explain their actions. But with Cinder, I was kinda just hoping that she was bad just for power. Being some poor kid and all would even be fine, but they shove her horrible past so hard down our throats. I mean, have you heard the song? Villains CAN be bad just for the sake of being bad. People seem to think nowadays that a sob story makes for a more three-dimensional character, which in some cases is true. However, I think Cinder is a perfect example of this not being true.

When you first started reacting to this show, I had just finished Blind Waves reaction of the recent season. The RWBY content never ends, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I also love group reactions, so I’ll be sure to keep watching!
@@TheWeebsCloset Absolutely. Blind Wave is great, but usually seem a little too professional. They’re great at catching things that others don’t. But you lot seem a lot more realistic. Like I got the friends together on the weekend to binge our favorite show. I like that down to earth feel that you give. Just some average weebs watching shows. I love it.

Ah the episode where Neptune is finally really presented, and where he presents it as "an intellectual" ... It will be quickly put aside ^^ '. The line too, "I'm from Haven (Heaven)" associated with the "Snow Angel" is too much. And yes, volume 2 is the volume where Weiss is touched by the atmosphere and ends up slacking off a bit. Ah, look forward to the next episodes, with a nice fight to come (and a quick change of outfit too, which we will unfortunately never see again ...). "Wicked" and "Son of a Witch" by Gregory Maguire are AMAZING books and the best telling of the Wizard of Oz universe. Maguire is known for rewriting known fairy tales to sometimes be even more severe and surreal than the originals. And Wicked and SoaW are really messed up lol. Worth a read or Audible!
Don't forget. In RWBY, if you have a question about how something happened, you just need to wait a while and they'll explain it. For example, when Ruby was falling out of the sky in chapter 7 in the last volume, they explained what happened in chapter 8. So take note things when you don't understand where someone/something comes from or how something happens. In lieu of that, your question about how they got into the school will be answered in volume 5. Just a little ways ahead. 🤣
Technically it's explained in V3, two seperate times actually. V5 is less exposition towards the viewers than most think it is, just playing straight instead of heavily hinting at things unlike the earlier Volumes. V5 is a really slow burn plot wise and characters are mostly learning things we as the audience could've already put together, that's the main issue with V5 without spoiling anyone who hasn't seen it.

I already posted this comment under jakes latest castlevania reaction but dont now if he told you about it so here is a recommendation from me: Hunter x Hunter Hunter x hunter is one of my most favorite if not my most favorite show ever. It just got everything you need in a good show. Amazing Story telling, really good written characters especially some of the villains (also character development of course but not only for the "hero's" but for the "villains" as well) hero and villain in " " because the line between those two is very blurry which makes this so much more interesting. The animation is consistently good and the fight scenes are awesome. Not to mention hunter x hunter got probably one of the most complex power system of all shows (cant go in depth there cause of spoilers, but it gets really strategic). This show brings your emotions to the limit and will definitely make you cry. It also has the possibility to get very dark. Also the NARRATOR (you'll know when you get there ^^) So even though its a pretty old show its just amazing. I would be really happy if you guys would react to it, but its hard for all 4 of you to react to it cause its a long show with 148 episodes, so maybe a 2 man reaction or a solo reaction, but i m sure you'll handle that if you should decide to watch hunter x hunter. @Nekko i heard you dont like starting long reactions, but believe me, this one is worth it. Ps: you should call it hunter hunter not hunter x hunter or you'll get some angry comments 😅
Yeah, no… I have a pet peeve with long shows, Mainly because it’s the same flavor for an extended period of time, and I like to be able to indulge in different things in a short period of time (shows, games, etc.). To the point where I no longer recommend My Hero to people, because it has gotten long (I keep watching it, because Im caught up, and it’s easier). This means that Shows like One Piece, I’ll watch em once Im 6ft under, so I have the whole eternity to catch up 🤣… But! There’s a silver Lining for HunterxHunter, as Jake has been making some propositions to get me to watch it… So rest assured that… Im considering it 🤣 -Nekko

Well, I'm not sure if Ruby is also Dorothy, although these things aren't always clear cut... There may be another known character that's based on Dorothy... I don't think they've been mentioned in the show yet, maybe only in the books... I have only just started reading them, so I'm not sure exactly what they are like, but given what we know about these other characters and looking at their name, I think it's a safe bet that they are based on Dorothy... Plus I think I saw it mentioned in comments before lol.
