The fact that LInda never brings up his scars (and we know she's seen them!) is meant to symbolize her failure to do more than scratch the surface of his suffering. She says things no therapist should say to a patient, things with no psychological validity, and she only drives the knife deeper when she insists on describing the devil face as his "true" face. Thanks, Linda. Tell somebody who sees himself as a monster that yes indeed, he is that monster. The therapist from Hell.
Lisa Cook I think Linda was gifted an angel baby because of how much she has helped everyone. I think this is God’s way of sending his immediate family members to therapy.

Best running joke in the show is how Lucifer ALWAYS draws the completely wrong message from whatever she is trying to teach him.
But always ends up following her advice via pure coincidence.
And always learns the lesson at the end of the episode

But I do still love when her and Eve talk about how he does it all the time, and she basically lets loose her frustration about it.

There is no way Linda is payed enough.
She was paid in sex. Honestly, a very unprofessional therapist to be honest. Though everyone on the show is a garbage person in some way, so it's to be expected.

@@EmptyMan000 bruh.... that was like a billion seasons ago .... she wasn't meant to become a regular... so her character was like any other ... seduce by Lucifer's charm and nothing else .... she had that role and people liked her screen presence so now she has a main role.... writers developed her character but it wasn't so from the start.. had they know she would have been loved this way... she probably would of have a better start

I think that God gifted Linda an angel baby because of how much she has done to help everybody. She learned that Lucifer was the actual devil, Maze was a powerful demon, Amenadiel an archangel, and Eve, she continued be their friend and helped them. Charlotte/Goddess almost killed Linda and she worked through that trauma by helping Charlotte.
Maze was right. Linda is not weak, she’s an incredibly strong person.

I don't think the show has ever used the term "archangel". Maybe it's a thing in the source comics, but as far as the show is concerned there aren't different levels of angels. They're all immortal and (usually) invulnerable, they can all fly (both physically, teleportation style, and between Hell/Heaven/Earth) and they all have their own unique abilities (Amenadiel = slowing time, Lucifer = desire mojo, Uriel = patterns, and I think Azrael's is invisibility.).

I like that the show doesn’t just make fun of therapy and it’s actually helping lucifer and the storylines and is still fun but not funny
Bunnycat Corleone I’m a psych student, and that’s the exact way I feel about it. The moment that really sold me was Ella mentioning HER psychologist in a sort of offhand way, as well. It’s one of the first shows I’ve seen deal with any characters getting therapy and it being positive for them, and definitely the first I’ve seen represent it as anything other than an acutely traumatized character and a constantly soft-voiced, dimensionless therapist.
@@somewhat-blue I think the whole theme of the show is therapy. Lucifer learning to forgive himself, for one. Also, therapy is exactly what people in Hell need to help them get out.

I really liked her in the Suits. I was happy to see her in this series again. she's indeed an amazing actor and her expressions are really great. her smile is really pretty too.
Lucifer is her BEST client even though, he sorta pisses her off a tad too much.
dark zeratul to be fair, Lucifer does have his special devilish aura that makes woman unless they’re Celestial beings, or created by one, feel lust towards him. Plus, at the beginning, she barely knew the damage being that was Lucifer. After she realized how messed up he was, she chose to stop their relationship and actually treat the relationship with more professionalism.

I'm about to get my undergrad in Psychology, and then it's on to Grad School to train as a LPC...one of the first things they tell you is "Don't see a therapist who isn't seeing a therapist"....can you imagine the stories Linda's therapist hears?lol.
And in season 5 Chloe literally jumps into conclusion like him and the doc congratulates her.

I love this show! Honestly, the writers are so thoughtful about all the characters in this universe and I’m especially excited about Linda. She deserves a gold medal for dealing with all this celestial BS and being the most logical and fun one out of all of it!!!

Man, I would give ANYTHING to see Linda open the door for her office and find a line of Angels waiting to talk to her in season 6. When she questions why they were there, they would explain its cause they heard how she was able to help God and Lucifer work through their problems.
If acting is reacting Rachel Harris deserves some sort of reward for her amazing reactions to everything Lucifer says.
