On was the reason they lost game 5 that foolish over extend for poke leading to Lights double kill, crisp although did int the heim game so it was ultimately whoever got blue side first
I feel like On might have cost them the game. 48:48 he gets caught out and doesn't land Q to either. For some reason Sej gets caught out shortly after trying to double back when they could have retreated but nonetheless, Lux was the weakest link. Maybe Bard or Barum to disengage maokai Q and peel Cait, or nearly anyone else would be better cause if Lux misses that Q, there aint no more hard CC to peel well their divers.
48:48 Lux Q didn't hit anyone and Sejuani got caught off in the side as well costed the game. Aside from getting caught out, Lux only has 1 hard cc to peel and disengage, I feel like Lux was not the best pick in this comp.
She couldn’t do much in team fights. The lux + caitlyn pick was meant for early lane bullying but unfortunately that didn’t happen. The longer the game goes they know their chances diminishes
XUN turning around to try and save ON only to then get caught in the Mao and Renata ults himself lost them their Nexus imo. He was already out of the fight and they could've defended 4v5 one more time I think.
SPOILER … … … so it’s either going to be: • WBG winning as 4th seed, TheShy comeback for 2nd title, Caedrel ecstatically jizzing all over the place and screaming “I’VE TOLD YOU SO” (he’ll probably never shut up about it) • T1 dismantling the LPL, not losing against any of their teams and finally getting the 4th title with Faker (would be a big release for them after all those recent finals were they came just one step too short) • JDG completing the Golden Road as the first team yet (and maybe forever)
@@mond2440Maybe, he has been struggling with his RSI in his wrists, but he's still looking really good and T1 would be so much worse without him as the captain and shot caller. If he retires, T1 probably don't even make it back to worlds next year. Faker seems like the kind of guy though to want to keep playing pro league as long as he can just because he loves the game so much.
GG to Weibo. Didn't think they'd beat BLG. I would expect that the winner of T1 vs JDG will go on to win worlds but who knows, I certainly didn't expect this. GG's to WBG.

why is lux more prio then morgana? i dont get it... someone can axplain? i mean, blackshield is better then lux shield, binding is the same and so on... is it just because of the ranged lux-ult?
the issue is that morgana can't help push the lane as much, the base damage on her w is pitiful. so you have less lane prio compared to lux whose e can push the lane and poke at the same time for more damage. additionally, because lux binding goes through minions she can zone enemies better in lane. morg ult is also completely useless in pro play since teams are more coordinated and supports are very squishy, whereas lux ult at least can add damage to any cc'd target
Yeah bot lane lost from the roster. Any other support can offer so much more utilities, even bard again can soft counter the engage from renada R. Why would BRG want to last pick a lux and wait to be out scaled is beyond me.

Lights post game interview was so cute. The two girls are soooo beautiful and the translation for which bot duo is better? Perfect works but it also means beautiful!
1:04:20 Wait what? WBG winning was a surprise. What they are on about BLG not having a superstar roster like WBG? Wait what? Cause XUN was young? I don't get what both of the ladies mean.
Weibo were huge underdogs... since like middle of spring, they were the "fraud super team", meanwhile BLG were the top regular season lpl team and MSI finalists. And I think the comment about not having superstar was more in relation to start if year especially compared to Weibo year starting expectations.
BLG's roster doesn't have any proven winners on their team, before this year none of the players were hugely insane. whereas WBG has two world champions and Xiahou who is also a very strong midlaner. now obviously this year the "superteam" didn't look like one and BLG made themselves into a super team in some ways by growing so much.
@@tomcourtney4206 Well, obviously my comment is not to be taken ad litteram. WBG had the super team at the start of the year. My point is regarding both ladies' casters saying it out loud. It shows the scripted idea and the bias that they could have at any time this year. To get into the semifinals and say BLG was clearly a surprise is mind-blowing. The surprise was months ago not now.
@@litapd311 Perfectly true, BUT by Western standards. Normal people or "experts", would not ever think that. At 1:04:40, when she said "the international viewers", I understood it as a reference to the 12-year-olds. And then she talks about heading into the MSI she didn't believe in this team. Well, she is not a 12 year old so what on earth is with that comment? What MSI? We are in the semifinals at Worlds, and your view has changed as the expert that you are. My point is not to why she said cause that part is clear. My point is why do they have to chat with 12-year-olds when they debate about how they feel about the teams? Is the same reason why University professors, Politicians and you name what other grown-ups you want to name that don't talk like grown-ups. The kids these days have to get offended. Is not relevant that you haven't heard of the BLG. There are games online you can watch and other pieces of information out there. If kids don't know that information, no one should care not to offend them and their whatever bias they can have. Life is going to offend them anyway.
Riot should really do something about the Blue side advantage. It's not funny anymore. If it's so significant that it can actually determine the outcomes of close matchups it just can't stay unaddressed.
it seems so, but also its really weird when you see T1 3-0 LNG from the red side, maybe its a draft thing, but we all know if both teams play straight meta red side has disadvantages
You really think blue side is what determined this game? Did you watch the game? It was back and forth the entire time and BLG could've won at multiple points if they played better or made better decisions
@@smasher2265 I mean, blue side has such a huge win rate this tournament bc there have been like no upsets. The higher seeds get side selection and pick blue and then win. No guarantee we get any upsets if the higher seeds just picked red, we might even see just the opposite stats with red at a 80% winrate.
@@user-tg3jl1mt4e I think it helped the teams that were on the Blue side and if both sides were exactly even the outcomes would've been different. Also I think you misunderstood me: I didn't say both teams were going even and then the Blue side somehow pushed one team over the top - the way it works is the Blue side gives an advantage AT THE START and without it the Blue teams might've started the games worse off.
