Not if you got a strong neck! My father, mowed,tedded,raked, plowed and harrowed, pulled the stone boat, etc with horses we had two working teams, the reins were usually around the neck. To my father these Belgian draft horses and horses in general were his friends and he trusted them more than he trusted most people and the animals responded accordingly. Another note my father drove the last horse drawn fire apparatus in Boston Massachusetts..
This design is impressive with its Creator obviously wanting to help man ease his work burden. We have always had good help. The bamlett looks good, too. I am ashamed that I was so deceived to actually believe Evolution.

@endamc79 once it resonably dry and a standing crop. theres no problem. keep the horse speed up and she cut and cuts.

yea we were heading to a hay cutting show in trim the following day and were just trying it out on this acre of light grass.
