Vintage camping with Mini. Visited the retro-camping of the Wagen bus.[Living with Rover Mini]

- We participated for the first time in Fuji Subaru Camp, a camping event organised by Gadget Mode.
According to previous information, it was supposed to be an intense gathering of retro camping enthusiasts.
We also decided to get a steel-frame tent and take a peek into the world of vintage camping.
It was our first time setting up this tent, and our first time attending, so we were a bit nervous.
But thanks to the organisers, our neighbours and all the welcoming people, we were able to enjoy ourselves.
And when I heard about the enthusiasm of the Wagenbus people and the vintage campers, I was more and more drawn into this world

We were using our frame tents until 12 years ago when we bought our first campervan. I remember we even took one to Denmark then into Sweden for my cousin's wedding there. We started camping in a Nissan Micra 1L, then got a Fiat Punto and later a Suzuki Swift, so all quite small cars. We were using a lot of the stoves and lamps etc that you have there.
Our first campervan was a 13 year old Toyota Granvia minibus, which had been shipped over from Japan and then converted to a campervan. We changed it a year ago for a new VW transporter campervan.

こんにちは ヴィンテージキャンプ憧れますね〜 それとワーゲンバス! ミニももちろん好きですが一時マジでワーゲンバス悩んでて色々探したらまともに走る個体はメッチャ高い 安いのもあるけどまともに走らせるにはいくらかかるやら…ってかんじ どっちにしろまともに歩けない貧乏ジジイには高嶺の花ですけどね こういうキャンプを主催してくれるお店と仲良くなれたのは良いですね 今回も素敵な動画ありがとうございました

The tent is made by a German manufacturer called Mehler. I don't know the detailed model, but it looks like a series called Weekend.
