The original "Walk of Shame" Sound of Silence parody idea is one that has been passed from college a capella group to college a capella group. Dana and Ginny heard it through word-of-mouth between singers, and decided that Hogwarts deserved its own version!

Hello daylight, my old friend.
I've gone and done it yet again.
And in the early morning light I see,
A Hufflepuff boy sleeping next to me.
Last night he seemed cute but now I'm thinking I was cursed.
But it gets worse.
It's time to take the walk of shame.
And from his creaky bed I creep.
Oh Merlin's beard please stay asleep.
The dungeon's never seemed so far away.
I haven't brushed my teeth since yesterday.
What I left in his room might make this my last hurrah: my wonder bra.
I must regret this walk of shame.
I see a prefect on the stair.

And I see figures moving through the fog.
The quidditch team out for their morning jog.
Then a gust of wing comes and blows my skirt over my ears.
The whole team cheers.
They know my past walks of shame.
But now I'm home so I don't care.
I brush the sandwich from my hair.
As I approach my bed I hear a snore.
My roommate's in it with some Gryffindor.
How thick her butterbeer goggles must have been
To sleep with him.
His turn to take the walk of shame.

The Hufflepuff dormitories are practically right next to Slytherin's...

Actually, a Slytherin and Hufflepuff isn't that far fetched. The Hufflepuffs would be open minded and not prejudiced against Slytherins and be loyal through the Slytherin's schemes. And vice versa, the Slytherin would add some excitement to the Hufflepuff's life.

Hilarious song. You'd think the teachers at Hogwarts would have had a spell in place to prevent this type of thing but they were probably too busy coming up with new irresponsible ways to endanger the lives of their students to bother.

"The Sound of Silence," by Simon and Garfunkel. If you don't know it, you're missing out! It's one of the most beautiful songs ever written, in our opinion.
Thats when you go to the Room of Requirement so you both take the walk of shame or to your dorm so your partner has to take the walk.
As we noted in the comments section, locating the *actual* "original" walk of shame parody is near impossible, because most colleges have their own version of it. That's why we thought it was fitting to apply it to wizard school, not just muggle school. C: And thank you~

Both dorms are in the dungeons.. she wouldn't have to go down stairs. The Hufflepuff house is next to the kitchen, while I would guess the Slytherin House would be on the otherside of the castle. ( Mind you, still a long ass walk when you think about it) BUT nope, no stairs

While it was like that in Gryffindor - I believe Slytherin doesn't have the same countermeasures.
Didn't Hermionie quoted the story of Hogwarts at the occasion that all girls dorms are protected that way and only the boys dorms aint because they thought girls would behave in this case? You can of cause correct me, I aint realy sure if I still remember correctly (sry if my english sucks there aint my native tongue and i havent slept for about 30 hours)

@tlrhk Thank you. C: The parody to which you are referring is one that has been performed by a number of colleges. We heard it through word-of-mouth by other singer friends and are currently searching for the *original* original so that we can credit it as inspiration.

@neomorphicduck What I remember is the stairs turning into a slide when any boy stepped on the girls' stairs. Just imagine that those cunning Slytherins figured out a workaround of some sort, maybe using a broom or even just Wingardium Leviosa to keep male feet apart from the enchanted stairs. :) Plus, we don't know definitively about the rules in the Slytherin dorms and their stairs/lack thereof.
I love that Ginny couldn't keep a straight face during the sandwich bit :) if you pause it, you see her crack a smile!

Fantastic job. I can't wipe the grin off my face. There is so much to like here, but I think my favorite little bit is that the Hufflepuff boy is sleeping with a teddy bear clutched in his hand. LOL
@Adliitam It's still coming, we promise! Hufflepuffs deserve an amazing house pride video and that's what we're trying to give them. It's just taking longer than we expected. Hang in there, it'll be worth it!

I love this song and Awesome video; however Potter Lore states clearly the stairs in each dorm magically fold into a slide to prevent boys from entering the female side of the dorm and vice versa. Though the video is awesome and the story is great.
