I can already tell you’re going to have the most beautiful labor and delivery just by all your responses. Pain is subjective and if you already go into labor thinking it will be painful, it is. But if you understand that your body is working with you, not against you to get that baby out. Those moments of intensity during the contractions will come and go. Once your baby is in your arms all that hard work will be beyond worth it. ❤

Thank you, thank you!!! I'm trusting Jesus and HE will guide me. The Holy Spirit lives inside us! I'm learning so much the last few months and will let my body take control and not push against it. So excited!

@@AmandaEnsing Amen!!!! If you don’t already have it, you’ll love the Christian Hypnobirthing app. I listened to it throughout my pregnancy and I had it playing during labor at my birth center. ❤️❤️

I have given birth 5 times natural and having my first home birth in March, with my first labor I got to the point where I said I can't do this and my husband said yes you can you are doing this and I shifted my mindset after that and with my second labor the thought came to my mind I can't and I didn't even finish the sentence in my mind I switched to I can and am doing this, it's so empowering to allow our bodies to do what God created them to do and surrender to him, God is your strength you got this mama ❤️

Giving birth is painful. It’s the most intense pain you will ever feel. I’ve done it three times. My youngest is 4 months old... however pain won’t kill you and you can overcome it mentally. Which I know is what you mean. Also I appreciated the pain and feeling everything pushing because it transforms you. It’s beautiful to let the pain wash over you and be mentally stronger than it. You can do it! I’d do it all over again even knowing I’d have to feel it again. It’s the most miraculous and indescribable feeling.

It wasn't painful for me. I had an all natural unmedicated birth. I only felt alot of pressure but it was so beautiful. I had a friend who always said oh its so painful and she was always so negative and long story short I don't have that negative person in my life. My birth was so beautiful and I only felt a few contractions. 30 mins total from 1st contraction until he was born!

Good on you for rejecting the 💉. I have three kids and none of them have had even one and they are the healthiest kids I’ve ever seen. When I was pregnant with my first at 19, 8 years ago, I had a gut feeling that something was just off with them, and I fell down the deepest rabbit hole imaginable. I don’t regret it one bit either. I’ve also had two home births and they were incredible. Being in the comfort of your own home during such a raw, emotional and personal time cannot be overstated in its value. I’m so excited for you to enter the adventure that is motherhood. Congratulations!

The best way to think about the feeling of contractions and “pain” is reminding yourself to embrace the feelings and that it’s your body is doing what it needs too, when you fight against what your body is doing it feels worse. With my second child I embraced the feelings and it made it a lot less painful

Sometimes you learn the hard way! But I'm so grateful we know now ♡ I'm so grateful I'm educated enough to stand up to drs! I gave natural birth without epidural, at my 22’s, and I don’t regret it, the memories the laughs and the cries, everything worth it. What kept me motivated during that time was having my mom by my side who had 3 kid naturally without epidural. And I thought every time if she could I can. I did it amazing 🥺🙏🏻❤️

I had my first son at a birth center which was beautiful and my second son at home which was even better because I felt the MOST safe at home. Also, not having to travel in the car while having contractions was huge plus lol. And then of course not having to put a little baby in a car seat to drive them home after was just a blessing. I'm pregnant with my third now and planning another home birth. My children are unvaccinated and thriving. Other parents often comment how intelligent and healthy my children are (without knowing they're unvaccinated). God is good and I am praying for your sweet angel. 🧡

Hi Amanda, I had my first and only child when I was 41. For some reason I had this idea that pregnancy and labor would be harder because I was older but I had no fear about it. I knew I wanted to have it as natural as possible. I still had to have the birth in the hospital due to a slight complication, but I was able to do it naturally with no drugs, no induction, etc. I think due to my confidence and no fear, I was able to have a very easy pregnancy which I thoroughly enjoyed and a very smooth birth. You seem very confident and I'm sure you are going to have a great birth. Enjoy your pregnancy!

I'm a fan of yours, but I don't understand how you don't eat things with vegetable oil processed foods etc. But get injections in your face and lips. Could you explain the reasoning?

    • @AmandaEnsing
      @AmandaEnsing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Your logic is: "If you don't avoid all toxic things, don't avoid any?"
I only get lip filler, MAYBE once a year now and it's made of a dissolvable substance naturally found in the body.
Inflammatory seed oils are carcinogenic and affect the gut and brain. Certain seed oils can cause an array of diseases and disorders, why would you eat them if you knew that?

I became a Mom 5 months ago at the ripe age of 33. I had a home water birth and would not have changed a thing. They say first time Moms have longer labors but I was only really uncomfortable for about 6 hours and he was out! I credit having a home birth for shortening my labor. Do what's best for you!
Good luck to you my dear! I hope all is well and I wish the best for you and your little one!

We waited to find out the gender as well and never did any ultrasounds. It was the best surprise ever and gave me motivation during labor to find out what we were having.
Since we decided to wait to find out we picked out a name that would work for a boy or girl and then picked out separate middle names.

I’m 9 weeks and I’m going to have my baby at a hospital and will more than likely use the epidural and that is OK!!! You look gorg soo radiant! What other tests did you opt out of?! I don’t have a midwife and feel so much anxiety every time I go to the doc bc it’s some other test. Did you take the genetic testing?! They are always just trying to scare us I feel!

    • @AmandaEnsing
      @AmandaEnsing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I’m not doing any tests! Genetic tests are something like 99% inaccurate if you look up the data. Even if it was correct, what would you do differently? IMO it would just cause unnecessary stress and I proclaim my baby is healed in Jesus name! We only did one ultrasound when I had my scare but no other ultrasounds and no Doppler bc of the radiation. We heard the heartbeat once and I didn’t realize at the time about the device, but know now. We will use the handheld one starting at 20 weeks :) Mama natural is a great book I recommend with so much information!

I had my 3rd baby at home unmedicated. My first 2 were at the hospital. Did not enjoy either of my hospital births. I mean I didn’t “enjoy” my third either because birth is painful, however I did love that I was at MY home. After baby was born I got to relax in my own bed, I didn’t have wires or IVs hooked up to me. One of the main things about my hospital births I did not like was how long I had to stay. All I wanted to do was go home.
Being at home was 100% better than in the hospital.

Then with my 2nd I wanted the same positive experience with an epidural but it happened too fast and I was unable to get an epidural. The pain of transition and pushing was like nothing I've ever felt. I can say in hindsight you do feel empowered and proud of yourself afterward but it hurts. You definitely need a good plan and a good support system in place when you reach that point in labor. I'm a Christian also and believe me I called out to God in those moments too but that pain isn't going anywhere. I truly hope it works out for her the way she wants. I just hope she's not disappointed if it doesn't live up to the plan in her head.

You may also not have a choice about have an epidural or going to the hospital. If it’s breached or any other issue you won’t be able to have it at home

It's good to have a plan, however, things can go sideways QUICK! I had a sonogram the day before I went into labor and my son was measuring 8 lbs. After three days of hard labor, massive blood loss, and oh so very close to having an emergency c section, my son was actually 10 lbs.

Love that you have an idea of what you want for your birth plan. I just want to make sure that not everything goes as we plan. Yes it’s God’s will that you will have an uncomplicated birth. BUT I wasn’t so lucky. My first was an Emergency C-Section and my other two were planned C Sections. I can carry a baby just like anyone but for some reason I just can’t deliver. Just maybe keep that in mind. You and your baby’s health and safety is the most important thing!!! Love you lots!!! ❤

Congratulations! So so happy for you and I come in agreement with your prayers over your baby and your family.
I had a question, what are the healthy ways of doing the glucose test oppose to the drink? I declined the drink with my last baby because I know it’s awful, I got so much backlash from every doctor and nurse, I stood my ground didn’t care but I wasn’t able to find a natural way to do that test

Good luck! Hope you and baby are healthy! Get as much rest as you possibly can.. I’m a first time mom, my baby boy is 3 months. I basically pulled an all nighter when I was in labor and once he was out I swear I didn’t sleep for 3 days (at the hospital nurses are constantly waking you up, no hate it’s just what it is) And of course when we came home it didn’t get any easier. Finally at 3 months my baby is sleeping just a little longer!
Enjoy the pregnancy for now 💕 and take lots of pictures!

Hi Amanda, I had my baby in May and want to recommend you watch Candace Owen's video entitled "Why Do Hospitals Perform Blood Tests On Infants?". I had the newborn screening infant PKU test done on my baby and later learned that the state (not a private lab) tests the blood, keeps the sample, extracts and keeps a record of baby's DNA as well. The baby's DNA stays in the state database for at least 20 years in my state and most. No one tells parents they keep the baby's DNA along with conducting the screening so I just want to give you the heads up I wish I had.

Love hearing all of your updates💛 i’m in week 11 with my little strawberry and am feeling so aligned with you in our approach to pregnancy and labor. I’m also doing a home birth and won’t be injecting any poison into my perfect baby. Oli pop sodas have been such a lifesaver for me with constipation! Blessings to you mama!

Many things can happen, cord around neck, no dilation, transverse so not going to the hospital may not be an option you have.

    • @LP-vd3hn

Exactly. Saying you want a home birth is all good but saying you will not have any medication or go to the hospital might not be an option

I’ve heard of a few people wanting to do home births but halfway thru labor, they have to be rushed to the hospital. So just know sometimes things happen and plans change.
