Nubia Pad 3D App Review Part 1: LeiaTube. Infinite 3D content?!

  • Here is the first in my review series for the Nubia Pad 3D and Lume Pad 2 focusing on individual apps in the Leia App ecosystem. The first app I am reviewing is LeiaTube, an app that can convert any video into 3D! (and do much more than that).
    I really want to do this app and review justice and there was way too much to cover properly about LeiaTube to fit into a single video, so this review will be divided into part 1 and 2, with part 2 releasing soon!
    Future videos reviewing other apps will be kept to a single video.

    Brilliant in depth video!! Really looks great! Have you tried the 3d video chat? One question I wanted to know is do both people need the lume pad for 3d video chat to work?

      Thanks! I have done a video chat and I was really impressed. I’ll be making an in depth feature review of LeiaChat, the 3D video app in the future. Currently you can not do a 3D chat unless the other person also has one, but I think that feature is on the way! Hopefully will be added sometime this year

    This is the first in a review series that will cover all the main 3D apps available on the Nubia Pad 3D and Lume Pad 2. I will also be doing a comprehensive review of the Nubia Pad 3D and Lume Pad 2!

    Thanks for the video. But I have a doubt: is 2D to 3D video conversion possible only by going through a stream or can it also be done with a video downloaded from TH-cam and saved normally?

    • @josh_3D
      @josh_3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! If you are able to download the file and save it to the internal storage of the tablet, you can open it up in the media player called Leia Player and convert it to 3D with the push of a button! I'll be making a video on this in the future. The quality of the 3D conversion you get through that method may not be quite as good as the method using streaming, but I haven't tested it out enough to say for certain yet.

    Can you stream games in 3D using it's built in converter i.e Microsoft xCloud

    • @josh_3D
      @josh_3D  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That isn't currently possible and would require Microsoft to partner with Leia Inc to make that happen. It wouldn't hurt to write to microsoft and let them know you would like to see that. The more people that contact them about it, the more likely they would be to consider doing it.

    Can any android app be installed? Can pairs of photos be imported into the image software to make 3d images without using the inbuilt camera?
    What does and doesn't work in the UK.

    • @josh_3D
      @josh_3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any android app on the Google Play store can be installed! Pairs of images can be imported and viewed directly in 3D the media player. The tablet can also take a single image, for example taken with your smartphone or camera and convert it into nice looking 3D! As far as I know everything works in the UK except for LeiaFlix, the app that allows rentals of a selection of 3D movies. That might be coming to the UK at a future date, and other streaming services could also make 3D versions of their own apps available in the UK in the future.

    yo nice review. can you tell me if i can convert doownloaded video in 3d?

    • @josh_3D
      @josh_3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, yes you can do that with the tap of a button! Whatever you download should be viewable in the media player app "LeiaPlayer". When you view your video there, you can see a blue 3D button on the bottom left. Click that and your video will be instantly converted into 3D😀

    Can you see content stored on the SD card storage in 3d?

    • @josh_3D
      @josh_3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Currently you have to relocate it to internal storage before it can be actually viewed in 3D, but I think the company has mentioned they are working to add direct 3D viewing support from the SD card in an update, hopefully coming soon

      @@josh_3D response hugely appreciated.. I'm a photograph myself and have terabytes of content.. Having just less than 100 gigs at my disposal for the 3d content is kind of ludicrous, especially when the tab supports upto a terabyte! I reached to ZTE support but no response. I hope we get an update soon enough!

    Can everyone view the pictures and videos converted into 3D or taken with it as 3D in ordinary phone or computer?

    • @josh_3D
      @josh_3D  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The 3D effect can not be viewed on an ordinary computer or phone, only on devices with 3D displays, 3D TVs or monitors that come with glasses and in VR headsets (maybe AR glasses too). You can take photos and videos taken on non 3D devices and convert them for viewing on the 3D tablet though.

    I have a question when you watch a content in 3d and then give it to someone else is it still in 3d?

    • @josh_3D
      @josh_3D  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you share a file in 3D so someone, they need to have a Nubia Pad 3D or another device to view it in 3D, otherwise it will just look 2D to them. If they have a VR headset or 3D tablet or other 3D device, they can also view the files you send them in 3D.

      @@josh_3D Looks good, these types of walk-in interviews are becoming more popular, especially in Japan, so maybe you could have a tech angle to differentiate from others. You have charisma so mix these together plus the unique language sets you have and interpretor angle also sets you apart. Only comment, maybe if you're fielding for customers just add a link to a professional page on the about page. You wouldn't need a top channel to find clients to make a living a think. You could also maybe interview outside of places like Google Japan, etc.. Anyways, just some ideas since you asked.
