thanks for sharing, the only input I've heard so far, it will be interesting to see how they raise the bridge 10 feet higher in the middle to accommodate taller ships!
I get that the bridge needs to be repaired, and I know delays will happen(and they have) but why are we shelling all of this money on a bridge that is struggling to handle the amount of traffic that travels it already? I heard the Mackay bridge was designed to be extended to 6 lanes if needed. Why not extend the McDonald to four? (Two lanes on each side) I mean if the bridge is going to be closed. Might as well make it better right?

It’s been 5 years
There late on Deck replacement is behind. I don't understand how are they going to rasie it up for tall ships.
Shorten the suspended ropes coming from the main cable.
