Good Afternoon Sir ! For the last three years I have been in touch with Hon' Shyam Sir. I mean that the teachings of Hon' Shyam Sir do not just lead one towards the path of success but it remains in our heart and mind in the form of legacy. I feel blessed, honored, and privileged for being the insignificant particle of Hon' Shyam Sir's feet as because of his blessings only I feel I am also the one among those 2% people who only can enjoy the gravity of English Grammar in a diversified manner. I have been teaching English in Intermediate College and running a successful coaching for four years with the strength of 400 students.
    लोगों के पास शब्द (vocabs) बहुत होते हैं
    लेकिन उसका ठीक ठीक प्रयोग सीखना है तो आदरणीय श्याम सर का दामन थम लो भाइयों, मै सर से इसलिए नहीं पढ़ा की नौकरी मिल जाय बल्कि इसलिए पढ़ा की एक सफल टीचर बन सकूं।

Correct one: " He has gone for a swim.
      for a swim: preposition(for) + a noun phrase ( a swim) 110% correct.
"For" is redundant in your second sentence.
Note: We use “go” plus the -ing to describe leisure activities that we do in our free time. For example:
      go shopping
      go swimming
      go skiing
