I don’t usually comment but just want to let you know I think your content is wonderful- you have a lovely and gentle way of speaking and showing things. Thank you and you’ve got a new subscriber. Cheers 🥂 to many, many more!
Yes… very serene and nice pace (not frantic) and love the music playing in the background sometimes (I think it is the husband playing music, so beautiful).
Thank you for stopping to my channel! It's such a wonderful snowing tonight in Luxembourg, pity it's too dark for a photo. I hope you are enjoying my new video, I would be loving also you ideas and thoughts 😊
Hi there from Virginia. Keep your coat and for sure keep your special old dictionaries! Such things are treasures. Loved your tips. Thank you so much for sharing.
Your coat is gorgeous, i,m enjoying finding you and your decluttering makes perfect sense and holds no drama,i feel i could cope with your process XxLizzie x
Thank you, Lizzie! Decluttering is a therapy not a punishment 😀 it's about detecting the things which serving no purpose in our lives and keeping those which are serving. Really easy 😌 x
Oh, what a gorgeous coat, I do hope you can keep it as it's very unique and different. Decluttering is an ongoing process for me, always something to let go of. You did well sorting out items you no longer need, with your beautiful kitty to help you! Greetings from New Zealand.
Wonderful video, Jolita! I suggest you sell the dress/jacket and put the money towards a new one. Keep that fabulous colorful sweater because you love it. This autumn, I gathered my entire wardrobe and sold more than half! I'm a sentimental person so it was hard but once I made the decision to sell, it was surprisingly easy. I sold to a local (I'm in Florida) consignment shop and also a national resale for charity store, both gave me cash straight out. I now have a considerably small wardrobe but feel like I have much more to wear. I had to get real with myself and I'm so glad I did.
@K MV thank you for advice! Yes, that’s how I am going through my belongings also, and I am sharing an advantage of small wardrobe and the feeling that you always have what to dress, haha!
Such a great tip to make a note to review something at a later date! I'm absolutely going to put that into practice. Even if it's only a few weeks or one month later.
Thank you Jolita. I have recently discovered your channel and it is like a calming moment in my day that also leaves me invigorated and ready to make some changes in my home. I have already adopted your idea of putting one plate on my living room table to hold my candle and remote controls and I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to finally have the clutter suddenly organized!! Also, an equally enjoyable part of your video is your cat who is so sweet and mellow! I have two cats as well (and I am considering the litter genie too) and seeing your kitty makes me calm. You are a truly lovely person who is bringing goodness and calm to us. Thank you!!!
I had to pause this video to laugh at the illegal immigrant candle holders; that's the best way I've ever heard house-warming gifts described! I'm so glad to have found this channel - your home is beautiful, and listening to your voice is very soothing 💖
Beautiful coat, I hope you kept it. I watched another video today and the lady said do you love it? would you buy it again? have you want it in the last year? Love your space. You are very inspiring. Your husband's music was lovely. P.S. I love the smell of old books.😊
Greetings from Canada my dear Jolita.....keep the long multicolored sweater/ coat.....what a beauty 🤗🤗🤗 ...omg I just lovvvvvvve your chanel....can't wait for the next episode....Keep well my dear.
4:22 I have that same thermos except it's lost all its colour 😀 but, not the heat retention! I've had it for 7 or 8 years now? If you don't want it anymore, I've always wanted a second one and take it off your hands!
Hi from Canada, are you in Luxembourg 🇱🇺 Luxembourg ? We went to Czechia 🇨🇿 last Christmas and to Vienna and Auschwitz. Love your channel. My first time watching. Love the dress. You can change it up with a bigger belt and small scarf to the side. And certainly KEEP the coat. It’s beautiful. A good tip for large ticket items is to exchange them with a girlfriend. If you trade jackets and sweaters you won’t lose it but you’ll get a replacement without spending the money. In a few years it will feel like new again when you get it back or you will certainly sell or donate it or give it to your friend again.
Great idea, Jeannie Caroline, we use to change our clothes with girlfriends back in Lithuania! And it seems I will be keeping the coat! We are living in eastern part of Luxembourg and 10 hours driving from Vienna :)
i love your channel. you also reduce visual clutter by seeming to have a unifying 'palette' to your home, do you have a video about that? also, can you provide a link to the great re-usable eyeshadow palette container? thank you!!!!
Hi Cathy, thank you for askin! No, I haven't video about our home colour palette yet, but thank you for idea, I will think about making one some time in the future :) Here is the link to the beauty box, it's from Artdeco: www.artdecobeauty.com/beauty-box-magnum?taxon_id=19
I love your hairstyle! Btw, are you originally from Lithuania? That is very interesting! I don't know too much about the country itself though. Maybe you can do a q&a sometime in the future?
@Sjudit84 thank you! Yes, I am a genuine Lithuanian, born there and spent bigger part of my life. I’ll think about the q&a video, maybe I’ll make it some time in the future :)
Hi Jolita. I’m a mother of two children, aged 8 and 11. I do my best keeping things tidy but my biggest issue is separating from sentimental items. I can almost get panick attacks from all the stuff we own. One of them is stuffed animals of my children and from my own childhood. I also have a piano that both me and my sister learned to play on. It’s not working so well anymore and I would like to replace it but it breaks my heart to let it go. What advice can you give an emotional “junkie” like me? I like your posts so much. I live in Sweden originally from a Hungarian family. Best wishes Erika
Hi Erika, thank you for reaching out! From what you wrote I understood that you have difficulties to part the things your are emotionally attached with? I can understand, that you have many emotions put in those items. We all do... They probably reminding on beautiful moments, first times, people you love or loved. First steps of your oldest one, first teeth of your younger one... Your children are still very young and I don't know how I would be feeling if I was a mom, but just think about that in their life will be still so many first times or emotional moments (and trust me, in you life too!) that you will probably will lose the count. And now imagine, that you will keep every single item from every single moment like this. It's not about that one day you would be running out of space (even though it would be a case). You would be having so many items for keep you in the past, that you would risk to lose today! Could you remember those moment's if there were no physical item to keep in the hand? Would those memories then seem less precious? Probably not. The doll or Teddy bear from our childhood wouldn't bring our childhood back, just the memories... Our brain has such an amazingly unlimited storage! But our homes unfortunately not, so we have to let the things go. And here is a good new. No one can tell you what to keep, except you... And as you already did the first step, you NAMED the problem, it's time to move furthered. Now get all your sentimental items into one pile, maybe next to the piano. How big is this? Then take each one in the hand and reflect if it was the first thing you woul be saving from the fire if the house were on flames? Big hug, let me know how you are doing :) Jolita
Thank you so much for answering so thoroughly. The pile would probably fill a room 😊 I’ll start small and this past week end we allready managed to handle a lot of things. I’m impatient to see your next video. It’s so relaxing and inspiring. Thank you 🌺💕
And regarding your striped dress with the jacket. I think you should keep both but not wear them together. The dress with a colourfull scarf and the jacket with a plain t-shirt and jeans.
I am so glad you enjoyed! Yes, the most of books we intending to keep, but I hope those dictionaries might be useful for somebody instead of just staying unused.

Thanks for sharing your ideas. You've inspired me to get rid of many things. Sometimes it just takes a push and I'm anxious to purge!
You can do it, dear Sheila! In fact many things we are keeping only because we've paid for them...
Such a great tip to make a note to review something at a later date! I'm absolutely going to put that into practice. Even if it's only a few weeks or one month later.
