Bad writing but it's kinda not the writers fault they only had a few weeks. The movie was rushed and alot of it was deleted like Justice League. This movie had ALOT of potential. The casting was perfect but not the story unfortunately.
That was the point. It was meant to be funny.

I love how in the beginning, Deadshot didn’t trust Flag for shit and was gonna kill him, but in the end after everything they went through together, Flag is the only one he trusts to go with him to see his daughter. That is real friendship right there.

He said that because he trusted Flag in the end to finish it, and was willing to give It all up for each other. If that doesn't prove it, Deadshoy could have let Enchantress kill him but instead he just slid right on front of the sword to stop her and save Flag. That should prove they finally respect each other

I really liked Will Smith in this.
He was definitely the star and the other characters were the satellites. Almost every single scene was about Will Smith interacting with the other characters. Even the love of Flagg and June Moon, instead of having love scenes between the two, it was shown in a scene where Flagg confessed his deep love for Dr. Moon to Deadshot.
As Will Smith, he was not bad but had nothing to do with the badass hitman that Deadshot is.Although the sentence "let's save the world" from the trailer was erased from the final cut due to the bad reception of the public, there's no doubt that Smith was once again the cool guy who saves the world.

Maybe it's a 10 years permission scenario.
Life sentences aren't always for life. When you are sentenced a life sentence, theres a set number of years you have to serve before you're eligible for parole. That's why they say you hear them give out sentences like '20 to life', which means you have to serve a minimum of 20 years before you're eligible for parole. If you misbehave or violate your parole, your sentence is increased, hence 'to life'. If you have back to back life sentences, such as boomerang who has 3, say that each are 20 to life, that means he would have to serve 60 years before he's eligible for parole. Taking 10 years off his sentence would mean he has to do 50 years before being eligible for parole.
@@taoliu3949 Lemme start off by saying, not every state has parole. That being said, if you get 3 life sentences, you more than likely ain't gonna be eligible for parole either.
Down here in Florida, parole disappeared in the 80's. We have mandatory minimums now. Say you get 10 years, you have to do minimum 8 in prison and if you get gain time, you can do your last 2 on probation. A lot of crimes have no minimum, they're 100% mandatory. So you're just in for the duration.
Tao Liu a triple life sentence, you aren’t seeing the streets as a free person. Especially if they aren’t concurrent. That means you won’t be doing all your sentences at the same time. By rather once one sentence is up, you serve the next. Look up Stephen Spader and you’ll see how a juvenile didn’t get a life sentence, but got a life sentence

He didn't deliberately save june. For all he knew she was dead. He literally said "i thought i killed you" to June. And if he knew killing the enchantress would save june, it wasn't much of a sacrifice as literally anyone else there would rather June was there than Enchantress
I love how the "villains"don't even try to kill her and when she dies they're the last ones to turn their back meaning that they are not as heartless as they seem

Most people hate this movie because it’s the cool thing to do. It wasn’t a masterpiece but it also wasn’t completely terrible, like Charlie’s Angels or Cats. It definitely had some good and touching scenes.

It's amazing and one of my favorite movies of all time both the TC (Theatrical Cut) and the EC (Extended Cut). I like the EC more but I still love the theatrical cut. Two amazing versions to one of my favorite movies of all time Suicide Squad (2016).

andrei pinar technically you're right. The fire wouldn't have hurt him. The over pressure from the blast would have liquidated his internal organs, just to start with. Then there's the fragmentation from the debris from the floor, and the charge itself. Lot more to it than just a fireball, but yeah, despite that I think he might be alive. No body, no confirmation, right? Seems like a probable plot twist for a sequel or spin off.

Apart from Harley, the Enchantress was the most interesting character in the movie. I think it's partially because her past is shrouded in mystery but we know just enough for her to be interesting. Some can and have argued that Cara Delevingne's unique body language was too over-the-top - Nostalgia Critic claimed she moved like a hula doll - but I think it just adds more personality to the Enchantress. She's like a vicious animal, an abused child, and a seductive siren all rolled into one, plus it's clear that she loves her brother so she's not all bad. I'm not even bothered by the more over-the-top gestures because I just interpret them as the movements of a creature who is still adapting to a human body. She's both literally and metaphorically stretching her muscles but hasn't been able to practice doing so for centuries.

Its weird because the movie this should have been has been made so many times. training scene of them fumbling around, flagg and DS wrestle over leadership, they have a minor scrap, do poorly, bar scene, get prepared to fight big bad, over a week. The pacing of this movie felt like the first day of summer camp. This movie made some very peculiar choices.

the scene at 3:25 with his daughter doesn't make complete sense. X is close to how far the bullet moves but not exactly since bullets travel in a wave formation like a catapulted projectile, only difference is since it's out of a gun it completes the wave pattern faster than can be seen. The bullet would go from angle A to angle C, but not in the same distance as the catapulting effect adds distance.
When I saw this movie in theaters I could tell the studio took shit out of it it was good but if Ayer actually got his cut it would’ve been even better with this new one being fuckin sick if we get the Ayer cut it’ll be so fuckin dope
