    I'm glad to see such positive feedback about the brushes. You can get them on Gumroad: lane339.gumroad.com/ --- Artstation: www.artstation.com/lane/store --- and Proko: www.proko.com/tool/the-photoshop-master-pack

    Amazing brushset, Lane. And very well explained, too. Good success and may all of us strive in our artwork.

    I just bought this pack from Creative Market. There are watercolor brushes advertised to be part of this pack, but there are no watercolor brushes. Also, I notice many of the brushes produce repeating vertical lines across the canvas.

    • @lanedraws
      @lanedraws  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you using them with photoshop? There's a folder under "Painterly Brushes" specifically for watercolor. Also, I'm not familiar with the vertical line issue. Please contact me if the issue persist. Thanks!

    4:30 it works for me when I paint horizontally or vertically, but when I try to do the stroke diagonally, it's like if the brush tip turned 90 degrees and the stroke comes the other way around. Any idea why that might happen? For example, the stroke at 4:05 would be thick and the 4:12 one would be thin. The opposite! Regardless of that, FANTASTIC BRUSH SET, thanks!

    Unfortunately I don't use Photoshop but it would be amazing if you could do something for Clip Studio Paint one day, I'm not sure if I've ever seen better digital brushes.

    I recently purchased a Master Pack brush... Do I need to use a Wacom Art Pen?
    They seem to be very good Photoshop brushes, but when I asked around, I was told that I had to buy an art pen to use Photoshop's brush 'rotation' function.

    • @lanedraws
      @lanedraws  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      These brushes utilize Tilt Sensitivity for rotation control, which is a feature that most (not all) Wacom stylus' have. So, you don't need the Wacom Art Pen for these brushes. I've used the Art Pen, and I like it, but I found that tilt control of the standard pens works just as well, just a little differently. That's ultimately going to be a matter of personal preference though. Once major drawback of the Art Pen is that it seems Wacom has not updated the model in years, and looks to be effectively discontinued.

    Hi Lane, have bought the brush pack and was wondering what key do you bind the mixer brush to on your keyboard? Mine is default PS CC keyboard settings

    • @lanedraws
      @lanedraws  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have it bound to the Z key, however I use a Razer Nostromo gaming keypad, so Z is actually assigned to a key on that, right next to my regular brush key. This makes it easy to switch back and forth between them, and any other frequently used tools. If I were using a normal keyboard, I would probably assign it to something else next to my other tools.

    Hi, if i may ask,
    In which pack is the 'Rapscallion' in Mixer Brushes is included ? Is it in the "Lane's Painting Brush Pack"?
    Thank you

    • @lanedraws
      @lanedraws  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry for the very late response! Yes, the mixer brushes are part of the Painting sub-pack and the whole master pack.

    The brush pack looks awesome! but would the function of the brushes work correctly on Clip Studio Paint? I am planning on buying the brush pack to use it on CSP

    • @lanedraws
      @lanedraws  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Unfortunately the brush organization will be lost in other apps. This set is huge, and heavily utilizes the Photoshop's brush folder system (and subfolders) to keep things in order. I also don't expect that the brushes will look the same in CSP, especially those which utilize more advanced settings.

    will these work with procreate?

    • @lanedraws
      @lanedraws  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The download includes a separate version for use with other apps like Procreate. Some users have told me they work fine. However, I don't recommend this set for anything other than Photoshop, mainly because there are hundreds of brushes in the set, and they are organized by Photoshop's brush system. I think it would be too much to manage.

      I enjoy traditional painting as well. However, for the majority of professional illustration and design work it is no longer practical. These brushes are what I use for work everyday.

      @@lanedraws I understand that but there's nothing like the original. I like the comic book/gaming digital coloring and inking. But if I want to see a oil painting I look at a oil painting each medium has there own style/strength

      You have to literally spend months in order to create hundreds of good quality brushes. I rather work for an hour and spend the money on a high quality collection of brushes. Besides they were much cheaper during the holiday sale.

    • @lanedraws
      @lanedraws  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I encourage all my students to experiment with their own brushes. However, as the other comment says, it's very time-consuming and requires a lot of trail and error to get specific effects.
