Hey Jon, as to how to conduct the before and after tests, I'd recommend, with driver, for instance, using impact spray/Dr. Scholls on the club face for 10 shots, then go through the program and try 10 more shots with impact spray to test for any improvement in ball striking or face strike pattern (meaning, one should see a tighter grouping of face impacts nearer to the center of the face after going through the program. I'd also pair these 10 shots with data from a launch monitor to test general shot patterns, dispersion, etc. to see if there's also a measurable impact. Cheers!
Hey mate, there wasn't. I like the product, it's good quality and I can see the potential benefit of it. But, I couldn't find a set training system to follow with it, and maybe it's just me, but I really like following set system instead of just use it a little, swing it here and there etc. Can definitely see it having a place.
Hi John, fun video! I have only the lag 7 iron. I use it every range session. I always warm up with it first hitting 10 balls. The extra weight gets the muscles loosened nicely and helps me get a nice rhythm to my swing. I usually then hit balls with my normal clubs and if I feel my swing getting off, mishits, etc., I go back to the lag club. It rarely fails to get me back to a smooth swing with good contact. I wish I could take it to the course and practice swinging it between shots 😁. I can definitely say it has helped me with my tempo, but I am not sure how much it's helped me with my lag. I still would definitely recommend it and would 100% purchase it again. I am curious to hear your thoughts on the lag driver.
I use first lag shot and after that normal club feels much easier 👍 It would be interesting here, if you have made technical swing changes through the years, to get better?
Interesting feedback, thanks. I'm quite a non-technical player. I like minimal swing thoughts to be honest. I have my own ideas but not had a lesson in a very long time.
Honestly I didn't stick with them. I like the idea of them and can see how they would help, but I couldn't find a set training program to follow. It might just be me, but I prefer having a program to stick with (that's partly why I like Super Speed so much). In the end I got a Golf lesson instead. Like I say though, I get the idea, good quality product and I think they have a place, I just prefer following set programs.
Hey, to be totally honest I like the product and the idea of it, but I couldn't work out a set training protocol to use with it, meaning it seemed a bit hit and miss and hard to objectively measure. I think there is a place for it, I just would want to follow a set program and be able to measure it, and I couldn't find that.
This started out to be a great channel but now it's transitioned into a Paid Infomercial channel trying to sell things. Seems like this started out as a hobby and now the site owner has turned this into his full time job. Oh well.
What in the world is your problem man?? You keep posting these negative comments and it's completely unjustified. The man is making great videos doing what he loves. He's polite, well spoken, and informative. Heaven forbid a man makes a couple bucks doing what he loves. Isn't that what we all should strive for? I can't understand why anyone would take offense to that. This video has 1.6k views. How much do you think he's really making? I applaud him for trying to make a new path in life. I can't imagine living life with such a negative mindset. Geesh!

Thank you for this vid Jon. Was there ever a follow-up to it? I'm toying with the idea of buying and trying the 7 iron

@@JonPerkinsGolf That is good way to play 👍
Celebrity spotted at Westfield today. Couldn’t place the face until now. 😂 keep up the work 👍
Haha not sure it'll make the evening news, but I was at Westfield 🤣 Hope you're getting to play more golf than shopping!
how did it go after 1 month? What plan did you use....I'm really thinking about doing the same thing.

No 1 month update?

Holding lag is the biggest myth in golf never do this
GForce is better
I’m intrigued… is there much difference between the 2?
Have you trained with them both? I'd love to hear more about both experiences!
the weight is the difference. GForce more like a golfclub - lagshot is heavier@@golfmad1381
My coach has both - I prefer the GForce because the weight is more like a golfclub - lagshot is heavier@@JonPerkinsGolf
Interesting@@franzose1967 Yes, I found the lag shot noticeably heavier first time out.

Thanks for taking the time to leave me your feedback. Sorry the videos are disappointing you.
Or alternatively giving you useful advice on whether these training aids might help you and if it's worth buying?
I think anyone who starts a TH-cam channel has that intention. His videos on speed training got me motivated to do it and I got the rewards.
Glad you saw gains from the speed sticks@@hazmat8770 Great to hear
