funny how they revealed the name of the update so late that the soundtrack is just titled "1.21 Soundtrack" rather than Tricky Trials

If I remember correctly, the random music in the middle of the scary disks has been explained as being a result of the maker writing over the data from an old music disk with the scary sounds. At some point, the overwriting stopped and we hear a little bit of what used to be there before the overwriting. Maybe this new track is the disk that was overwritten!!

First adjective-noun update we've had since 1.15 Buzzy Bees. Makes me wonder how they decide when to name an update as a noun, rhyme or adjective-noun.
I'd guess it's a single copper music disk, but if you leave it out it corrodes and maybe plays a different version for each stage? Maybe getting heavier for each stage?

Honestly. Adventure couldn't be the most needed thing in Minecraft. I only hope Minecraft grows to be a videogame full of fun!
Perhaps at some point, (or any rando now) may think Minecraft will be "too complex" or it'll looked like modded Minecraft, but I say f it, the game is gonna grow whatever if people like it or not! It's a slowly developing game, but at least with each update things only go foward!
I'd love to go to the future and see a Minecraft that's completely new from now and be able to enjoy it.
Music discs seem like such an easy thing to add as unique structure loot. I really feel like they should add them more often.

Correct, as well as the Mangrove Swamp and Frogs + Froglights (some of my favorite Minecraft features).

the point of 1.20 was more of exploration and self expression with the pots, building blocks, trail ruins, sniffers and camels aswell as armor trims
I would absolutely love if all the weird music disks eventually mix with eachother and create like an Oratorio of sorts.

The End Update I feel is something that shouldn't be rushed.
Ooor, there can be a Heatwave Update, where they update hot biomes like the desert, savannah, and badlands.

man, those bootleg discs are completely out of hand nowadays. i bet all of the vinyl was mined by a piglins, so now they use everything they cat lay their hands on.
I think the normal copper is Creator and the oxidised one is the music box one
I think the coper one and pure oxidized are from the regular vaults. Because the other rone specifically has the same colors of the ominous key

More trims, patterns and a lot more stuff with copper? I mean it is something, no? And the crafter might be huge for redstone automation, no?
@@sizanogreen9900Nah thats not enough really. My guess us tgat the update was initially was supposed to be a combat, Crafting and Redstone update.
I think "tinkering" can mean more than just redstone, though the crafter is really big, like don't underplay the crafter.
Dont forget all the possibilities for map makers with all of the trial chambers stuff - cant you customize the spawner a lot?
Don't sleep on the copper lamp, which is a one block t-flip flop. That's going to go miles for redstone condensation.
I feel like every video is half actual content, half trying to guess what toycats building
I have a feeling its going to be one disc drop that you can create 3 from. My guess is the copper one drops from a vault/pot, can be oxidesed to the green one but can be waxed to protect it also. And then you combine the 2 with tuff to make the 3rd, you heard it here first 😅

Wait holy crap, I’ve been so busy that I forgot that the update releases in like a month, 1.20 felt like yesterday
I don’t think this is going to be the case but it would be pretty neat if the copper disc was Creator and the oxidized copper disc was the music box version
I am excited for this update. The mace looks pretty interesting although I probably will treat it more as a trophy. The trial chambers are pretty fun so far and I can't even do the ominous ones on my PS5 yet so definitely looking forward to some fun new combat adventures to do solo and with my kids. New music, pottery, and banners are also pretty fun.
The breeze armor trim looks like a #52 football jersey

Hyped for this update. It will probably be hard to find in my world since it’s quite an old world so I will have to go far to a place that hasn’t been already generated in previous updates.

As a builder I’m most excited to use tuff blocks, it would look great in some of my current builds
I’d like to say, I think that it’s interesting how 5 and “That one over on the right” both seem thicker than the others. I think perhaps that are a thicker kind of disk, perhaps implying they are older?

1.20.80 definitely changed the durability color in items
If you look at the aged copper music disc to the right, if you notice the edge is highlighted. The only other one that is highlighted is 5 which had to be acquired in pieces. I bet that one will be the same. Probably as part of the rewards you get from the trials.
Probably one of the best updates we’ve gotten in a little bit. I miss updates that have a decent amount of content, and while massage updates aren’t that viable it’s better than the nothing burger that was the “wild” update.
Give it a smidge of respect. The deep dark is surprisingly good and one of my favorite features in the game. But that's my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.

I made my own prediction of the name being the Trials and Tribulations update. I think it fits better, as it is a common saying, but it can also call back to the tinkering side as you struggle to learn how to use the new redstone stuff, on top of the struggle of the trial chambers.

I think it's overall the best since the Update Aquatic ones, however there are a lot more "mid" tracks in this one compared to The Wild Update and The Nether Update
I have no issue with the discs but most of the post Aquatic in-game music that plays in game has been very repetitive
One thing I think is interesting is that the orange (normal copper) and cyan (exposed copper) disks are exactly the same design-wise, but have different colors. And the orange, cyan, and gray (copper and tuff) disk looks like if you mashed the orange and cyan one together and added tuff.
These three have to have some sort of connection.

I really like this name structure! It reminds me of Buzzy Bees because both have that nice alliteration.
i fell like the music disks are gonna be connected with the orange and green being their own songs and the partially aged copper one being a mix between the two
I think they might change the fletching table to have some use because they showed it in the copper bulb section and that might be a hint towards a change for it because there is no reason to have a fletching table in your base unless it has a use
Time to add those music discs to my collection, time to find them

Id like to point out that with the 3 new music disks, one looks like unoxidized copper, another looks oxidized, and the 3rd looks half and half

How cool would it be if you played two specific discs at the same time one on each side of the deep dark "portal" and that is what lit it for a new dimension. The magic tune combo is the key. Disc 5 and Otherside. The two found in Ancient Cities.
I really wish they would make the vaults refillable. I play on a low storage device and it would be nice to not have to load in so many extra chunks to get some loot. Also, this would give it a lot more single player value since as of right now its a strictly unlockable chest for us an nothing else. There is also no reason to return to the structure after you've looted each vault once besides maybe breeze rods or if you want poison arrows. I really think they're missing out by not making them refillable, even if there was a cooldown on refilling them that would be such a great quality of life feature
People complain about updates when mojang is doing so much 😮 this is a big update, not every update has to be a game changer
Agnes should be the woman of the year, she is insanely sweet and people say she's ruining minecraft, she literally gave minecraft life. She revived a dying game. I remember how lonely and scared i felt playing minecraft before, now i feel comfortable and scared on command. I know when i'm entering danger for the most part so i don't develope some anxiety disorder lmfao. I used to hear my own heartbeat walking around/by caves. She took away the loneliness with all the new mobs and beauty. Froglights are insanely good add ons. All of the hostile mobs are scary but not terrifying. I love her.......

I think the Unoxidized Copper Music Disc will be the song Creator.
However, the Fully Oxidized Copper Music Disc is also Creator BUT the Music Box Version. This is because this disc is OLD and Oxidized.
1.21 seems fun, but the vaults are going to be what makes or breaks the update for me.
With ominous vaults and regular vaults to unlock, the regular ones should be reusable and the ominous ones single use. There's a lot of loot to be had and you're going to end up with excess keys over time.
But then people will make a key farm and get infinite loot

You're not supposed to kill the warden but I've seen warden farms.
There's like a ton of vaults in a trial chamber, is that not enough for you, do just want to be lazy and farm a single spawner. That's not fun.
@@PhonyLyzard it's not lazy, it's console issues. The switch has a stupid limitation where if your worlds collectively reach 2GB, it prevents you from playing any world until you delete something.
Having multiple worlds I play on and with 1.20 and 1.21 forcing exploration to have access to the new content, worlds get large fast so I'd like to limit exploration as much as possible (thus the need for vaults to be reused)

I imagine 1.21 in the long run will be seen as another fine okay update.
1.21 is aiming to be a trial chambers update and not much more which is fine by me.
I just wish the update had more content outside the structure because the only content in 1.21 outside the trial chambers are the armadillos, wolf armor, crafter, and some new paintings.
A little sad that they didn’t do much for the tinkering but the tuff set is gorgeous so I’ll take it 👍

Just make bamboo into sticks and sell them to a fletcher after you've gotten apples from a fully upgraded farmer villager (if you can get the first apple to unzombify the first farmer villager), upgrade the villager with carrots and potatoes dropped from normal zombie loot :D, you'll need the fox emerald only once, then you can make unlimited apples from villager trading
To me, the music disk in the middle seemed like unoxidized copper. The one on the left seemed to be fully oxidized copper, and the one on the right was between oxidized and unoxidized. Maybe all 3 connect in some way. And possibly they all tie in to the deep dark. But that's just a theory a g...

Can we PLEASE get inventory sorting functions, faster minecarts, or options to increase the radius of crop growth? Basic stuff... this is all great for this latest update, but why more soundtracks instead of basic universally needed features?
Crop growth is dependant on simulation distance
Ah... a world where I had the time to play as much as I want to without worry and play minecraft multiplayer with friends I had to get for that... it would be nice. But it aint that easy.
Either way I am hyped for the update.

i've listened to a few discs, but gaming, I rarely ever turn sound on. For the long durations I play, I get annoyed by the world sounds of this and most all games. Learned to use visual cues to 'survive' as long as I do and in Minecraft, the cheat to keep all my stuff when I do get blown to bits.
1.21 is literally "Copper Golem, but if it was an update", GIVE US THE COPPER GOLEM. THIS IS ITS UPDATE

while i think 1.21 adds some cool and unique features, i also just don't care that much about them. i fall into the camp of not excited for 1.21.
actually, im more excited about the new wolves than i am any 1.21 feature lol.
maybe this is because im kinda growing out of Minecraft, or maybe it's because the features genuinely don't seem that fun to play with, or maybe ive just become desentisised with them because it doesn't feel like there was much new after the initial announcement (because everything is so focused on the Trials), idk.
