Stella did an excellent job portraying Julia. Julia is so underrated. I really wanted her to end up a goddess.
Yup, although powercreep was a major issue. Although going into season 5, for ... a reason I don't want to spoil, they could have changed the whole naritive of the show and switch protagonists, but they didn't and she isn't a god ...
Didn't get to stay a partial goddess in the books? I wish they did that here

Same I love the magicians end of season 4 was sad an season 5 was good but after I finished season 5 I researched when season 6 coming and it said the show being cancelled cause it got to expensive 🙄 so they stop it at season 5

Alice might be very talented and strong so is Margo too obviously but all givin Julia at the end was the one thing needed to be in order to win against the beast and she became a goddess for a read too so she really was chosen to be more and she was as talented than Alice I guess too and she studied the same thing the dean like in the magic tracks something that combines them all
There so many things that can be said about Julia Wicker, but one thing is certain, she is the one of the best characters the show gave us. The struggle, the heartbreak, the pain and the growth, she went through it all and came out standing with her family. Thank you for making this video about my favorite character from The Magicians.

My favorite and relatable character on the Magicians was Julia. Most powerful out of all of them. If her and Alice were best friends they'd be double trouble.

If the show had gotten a sixth season....episode 3 would've aired tonight. I didn't get to watch a new episode tonight but I DID get to watch this and I am sitting here SOBBING. This is BEAUTIFUL. And encompasses EVERYTHING this show stood for.
SUCH an incredible character exploration of a searcher...a fighter...a warrior...a goddess. I hope Julia, Penny and Hope are out there somewhere enjoying their happily ever after. They deserve it. SHE deserves it. God, I miss her....... ❤️

I watch a lot of these edits but it was done so well. It told the story of Julia fantastically without losing the beauty and power of her character! Best one I’ve seen in a lonnnngggg time!!
This is one of my FAVORITE TV SHOWS!!!!! I loved it from its first episode to its heartbreaking cancellation and I want someone so badly to pick it back up but they won’t

Right next to Quentin I love all of them but her and Quentin were the best
All that pain all that suffering she went through all because she was the key she was the one thing the one variable that changed the game and made everyone survive the beast she to me suffered more pain and anguish and guilt and grief than literally any other character to me when she got her godly powers I thought
“Of course of course it’s Julia she deserves it”
Then when she lost them I was angry pissed that the creators wouldn’t find some other way but then I remembered and realized
“This is something Julia would do this right here sacrificing herself her own power and godliness for her friends......that’s Julia right there..”
She was my favorite because of all that pain she endured and yet persevered through after Q died she became to me the best character before she was right up there with Quentin and I loved her story because even though it was batshit crazy all of it from becoming a hedge witch magic junkie to going through relapse to being violated by a god to losing her shade to becoming a god to then lose her goddess hood and become human again to become a magician again it all seemed relatable in a way like this person wasn’t some random beautiful girl you saw on the street but more like this could have been your best friend or girlfriend or sister and you see that pain and hardship she’s all gone through.......and her cry and laugh with her that scene where she rediscovered her magic at Q’s campfire is one of my favorites in the series because of what it entailed
“Magic doesn’t come from talent,it comes from pain”
She was reborn a magician so she hadn’t suffered any true pain until her best friend her brother practically died and the pain forced her magic that to me shows why she grew so powerful that to me is why “our lady underground” chose her in the first place to become the bearer of Reynards seed of godly power because she had suffered enough pain to handle that responsibility and to me that’s why I think magic exists at all in that universe it’s the way magic delegates itself
“You have suffered enough so now I know you are worthy and responsible enough to wield me” and in that way magic is unlocked for people and therefore nobody had enough magic or had at least suffered enough like Julia.....
If you couldn’t tell I loved this edit and I want you to PLEASE DO MORE edits of the magicians this was literally perfect especially because edits about this show are so rare.......

I swear to God I love this series so much I watched it over 6 times now... It always makes me cry.. Especially the end, because it's actually the and and there is nothing coming after it, I relate so much to this show bc it has so many things that happen in this world.. Especially all the depression that Quentin had but at the end he achieved what he always wanted.

Damn I thought I was all alone with this being my favourite show. Glad I found these comments
i hope you make one for her old childhood friend, Quintin, who was always pushing for the right cause. i mean he was literally the only one who always cared. he was weaker and less important story-wise but he was didn't lose his morals, he didn't surrender and he didn't let take a break like every single other one did. true, he didn't sacrifice as much as others but he was everyone's hero.
He sacrificed his life for them lol Quentin was that person who had hoped that everything can get better and that they can do better where they all knew that magic just makes everything more complicated
I got chills just watching this. Julia was by far the best character. Margo and Alice come second.

I identified with Julia the most in this because in every relationship and friendship I had in life I have always been like Julia, the one with the spark the golden eyes the one who continues to grow peaceful brighter and closer to God than anyone else. I am a mixture of both Julia and Quinton Temperance and the Fool.
I wish that she stayed a goddess, or at least a partial goddess :(

Just watched the final season and I have a hole in my heart. I’m jacking Julia was always the main character
I’m so sad this show was cancelled because there was so much we could see from everyone including Julia. I never understood her and found her quite boring but she was just trying to fix herself and do the right thing. She went through the most alone. Also why didn’t we have more of Katie because she was one of the strongest characters who overcame so much as well.
