"I remember at age 15, packing a small sportsbag with a few clothing items and shoes and saying goodbye to mom, leaving my childhood home for the last time and setting out on a rock’n’roll journey that now has been going on for 48 years. Still there doesn’t go a day when I don’t think about how much I have said goodbye to and how many people in my life I have said goodbye to. It sure leaves scars on a person, and that it has on me.
