Original Betty was already popular in my country and when Hollywood's Betty came out it was nothing like the original and I knew Hollywood gonna screw up but eventually loved the show as a new one.
Great show and i cant get over it

@@Dash120z Yes please!!! I want to see Betty and Daniel in London NOW!!! It could switch back and forth…from Wilhelmina in NYC to Betty and Daniel in London, etc. Their fashion companies could partner up at some point. I also want Alexis to return. 😟

They messed up the show by Betty and gio not becoming a couple. 🙁
It made sense, they were not a good match. Gio ended up finding someone perfect for him. Better choosing herself instead of between Henry and gio, was a demonstration if self love that had to be demonstrated by her character who by apprences should have had low self esteem because she was constantly ridiculed for not fitting in, but throughout the show she demonstrated inner power, self love, and strength. Her not choosing gio, made sense got her character..... but at the same time I here you lol...

The 1st ever version is Colombian but there's a Mexican version called La Fea Mas Bella.
I've seen the entire original soap opera Betty la Fea, and I've seen Ugly Betty. The original is just a million times better and the story and the characters and the soundtrack and everything is just pure genius. There has to be an American version that follows the original story. The Russian, Indian, Spain, Mexican, filipino, ect versions follow the original story, but not ugly betty.
Used to love Betty’s father, but after he played child molester in desperate housewives, I kinda hate him
