A gifted talented artist like Bhagwan Dada, was an exception. His multi-faceted prowess distinguished him as an actor, comedian, dancer, producer and director. However, success is more intoxicating than any drug or alcohol. Attention to details and to practical matters becomes secondary to euphoria of name and fame. Furthermore, an accomplished artist is not necessarily the most savvy and practical businessman. One wrong move or a near-sighted decision can wipe one out. Also, those were different times. The Indian Cinema was still in its infancy, and many intellectual property laws were not yet established to protect an individual's rights, and claims to the likes of copyright, patent and royalty. To further complicate the matters, there was little known to be done to protect and preserve the films from harsh marine environment and extreme temperatures. The 16-mm reels were vulnerable and were no match to the almost indestructible (unless you delete and purge it) digitized audio-visual media of today. The latter can be protected and preserved in multiple virtual repositories. Additionally, the practical aspects of insuring the actors, their "marketable" body parts (I am not kidding... Hollywood actors were way ahead in this respect) and the finished products, such as initial rushes, trailers and movies to keep them safe from theft, arson and unlawful copying ... left the Indian producers of yesteryear at a great disadvantage. Naturally, in this self-serving world, where you have plenty of Fairweather Weather friends who flock you in happy times, but no loyal supporters and benefactors when you fall in hard times, the results for Dada were heartbreaking, devastating and tragic. 💔💔💔

I do respect Kishor Kumar but he had a whole another side to him which we as an audience don't know Wo thoda alag hi kism ka aadmi tha He was greedy as hell like his wife Leena Chandawarkar says about him in interviews and radio talks, sometimes cunning to people for no reason like he was to Bhagwan Dada Not saying that Kishor Kumar was the sole reason for Bhagwan Dada's downfall but he did make things worse for him Who knows Haste Raho could've been one of the greatest hits of that time and would've eased things for Bhagwan Dada and had helped him get back on the horse
