DJ Paul shared his thoughts on The D.O.C. ending his stint as a rapper with his serious car accident in 1989, which the Three 6 Mafia rapper said all happened for a reason. DJ Paul explained that he loved The D.O.C.'s first project, No One Can Do It Better, and hated that he got in a serious car accident that stopped him from rapping afterward.
During the conversation, DJ Paul spoke about continuing to work with artists, including Rae Sremmurd, who he remixed "Side to Side" for, and it also featured Juicy J. To hear more, including talk of a potential project with Post Malone, hit the above clip.

Nooo!!! He didn’t get into the subject of POWERGLIDE the way I wanted. Here’s what happened: DJ Paul and Mally Mall produced the track for Rae Sremmurd. Notice when you listen to the song, Mike Will Made It is credited for production instead of Paul. When the fans asked him on instagram about it, Paul said “they can hide me all they want but I’m still getting the 💰” so there’s definitely some behind the scenes shit that went on that I really wanna know about. Three 6 Mafia (Paul and Crunchy) went on to do their own version of Powerglide after so many changes were made to the mainstream version featuring Juicy J. I swear niggas don’t wanna give Paul the credit he deserves. He’s the king of this shit! Did y’all know Paul was filming the video with Rae Sremmurd but they edited him out? I believe that it’s something that Juicy & Mike planned without Paul. Maybe I’m dead ass wrong but who knows? Everybody keep asking Paul like “when are you going to make songs with juicy” and Juicy be like “someday”. Maybe Juice don’t want to ruin his career or lose money. Do you think he’s gonna go back to his roots? I don’t think so. The main concern is making money, not reunion or some’.
