I'm almost certain Capitano will save her 😂 If they're cleaning their character Arsenal, it'll either be in snezhnaya or khaenri'ah... When all the story quests are done... Tho there is also a chance that Capitano's curse will uno reverse card the abyss itself 😂 If that's the case, it'll be Celestial curse vs abyssal curse.
Would it be an extremely heavy impact that would elevate Genshin's story to new tiers of godhood? Absolutely. Would it make them miss out on a chance to earn money from a very popular character whose abilities has already been put on display in stream? also absolutely. Would it be hilarious if they do it DESPITE having put so much effort into design, marketing and even an animated video? ABSOLUTELY! Knowing what corporations HAS to keep an eye on, I do not doubt that chicken mode will be engaged here ^^ (which is good for me, because The Seven knows I've been skipping way too many characters already to be ensured my Archon!)
@@Belarda908 I think personally, 1 or 2 or 9 times, We get it, get those bags or something, but even at Penacony in HSR They are somehow still chicken, I don't think it will happen in Genshin, I would be surprise if They get balsy now but I would prob be happy if They did
My man Tupac went out like Whitebeard plus he held on his pain just to bring unconscious Mavuika to the sacred flame. Man was truly a good warrior and companion to our pyro archon until his end. Also the fact that Mavuika's little sister was the one giving her little push she needed when she was mentally lost on her way towards the future.. so touching😢. Nahida and Furina weren't the only ones going through fcked shit during those 500years show how much some archon suffered just to provide a better future to their nation😢
So I am a very stupid person and I need to ask: can someone please explain this morbid fascination some CCs seem to have with Hoyo killing off characters recently? This is not the first time I've seen it brought up and It's such a damaging attitude to have toward a story. Since when is a story only good if a character dies? I can't begin to put into words how disrespectful that feels to me. And how shortsighted. When they killed off Himeko in HI3 they didn't do it just so they could show you they had the balls to do it, they did it to complete her character arc and jumpstart Kiana's character development. They had the balls to not only uphold her death and not resurrect Himeko despite her popularity post Chapter 9 but to also use it to tell better stories with it. Kiana's guilt was fuel to the fire that pushed her to feel like she had to sacrifice herself in turn to make Himeko's death have meaning which then pushed Mei into taking radical action to save Kiana in spite of her self-destructive behavior, which then gave Kiana a lesson about self-sacrifices when she almost lost Fu Hua to her own self-imposed mission. Her death had repercussions flowing from character to character and informed their motivations moving forward. A death in Chapter 9 reverberated across the entire story all the way to the end of Part 1 in Chapter 35. It wasn't just sad because big-titty momma died, it was sad because Himeko died a hero knowing that her death was going to mess Kiana up but adamant in her hope that her student would be able to grow past it. On the flip side, what better stories would a major character death bring in Genshin, one nation before we move into the end game? What character development would a character we knew for 3 months dying jumpstart? Traveler barely cares about Furina and Focalor's stories so what lesson would Mavuika's death impart on them? Is the only thought behind these calls for death actually just "character death = sad; sad = emotion; emotion = good story" simply because apparently we're all so dead on the inside that the only emotion that can spark a response is sadness? Or is it because a sad ending makes the story more "mature" or something stupid like that? Is it really just about testing Hoyo's "courage" in spite of them having killed off characters before? I don't get it. There is no real thematic reason why Mavuika needs to die in the end. In fact there is thematic reason for Mavuika to confront and overcome her destined death so demanding that she be killed off makes no sense to me. Running with the theme of sacrifice in Natlan, she sacrificed her entire life and place in the world for a chance to do what none of her predecessors were able to, so her being able to fulfill that purpose, complete her mission and finally be released from her burden as Archon to grow old and live and die in peace like a human after all that she has lost is the better outcome to her story and makes her being a human an actually important part of her character. Her dying just makes her a mortal, which Archons already are; her being released from being an Archon would make her actually human. Also as the model warrior of Natlan, that would be a way to exemplify how all the sacrifices that were made by past and present warriors ultimately did have a point in ensuring a peaceful future for the nation rather than just end with a pyrrhic or bittersweet victory, where those who sacrificed the most still end up losing everything in the end. Her surviving, living and growing old as a human would actually make her the greatest Fire Archon of them all, not in spite of her humanity but because of it. It's all up to the writer and they hopefully have come up with a fitting conclusion to her story but "rocks fall and Mavuika dies" seems like just the worst possible ending. A sad or bittersweet ending just for the sake of having a sad or bittersweet ending is bleh and disappointing, not moving. Heroes deserve a happily ever after too. Long story short: asking for a major character death for the shits and giggles is just disrespectful imo. To the character, to the story being told and to the writers.
I can think of a very few deaths in genshin that would complete a story arc simply due to the nature of the main character. Unlike in HI3rd or HSR the traveller does not linger in one place long enough for the characters to form a bond strong enough to mean something on an emotional level for the most part, yes they canonically spend months with teppei and years with the people of mondstat and so on but It's not the same as the Astral express being a home or The Valkaries being akin to a school (a personable location). The only deaths that would make sense could possibly be Ayato dying to help move Ayaka's story forward but she already is taking over some of his roles so it wouldn't do much for her, or killing off barbra for Jean to enter into a pseudo aristocratic era part 2 but it wouldnt last long considering everyone who'd immediately oppose it including the archon who's fully awake and would interfere unlike last time. I think the best decision they've done is keep Xiao alive despite his death making alot of sense in the lore because him being alive means so much more on a "meta" perspective, telling people with survivors guilt to keep on living, telling soldiers not to throw their lives away at a whim just to save others and maybe sit down and ponder other ways together, to be open with your emotions and thoughts, and move on from past hardship and embrace the select people who can accept you (Vision bearers being symbolic to those who'd be understanding and patient with such people). The only time I can really see death meaning anything is possibly in Sneznaya as that place is coded towards death (without ressurection) such as the boar princess story, or the crimson witch and the concepts of love and death all related to the cryo element such as with Ayaka's mother, Qiqi's personal death, and other such tragic lives being mainly attributed to the cryo element and the concept of "loss" and "seperation" being huge foci. Sneznaya would need to have a character akin to Cocolia in which I mean a character not meant to be playable but serve a narrative, where the traveller experiences the past through the leylines and we see someone die. Now this doesnt fix the issue of playable characters not dying but its not really an issue and to be honest we dont need any characters to die at all, the only place where death could have meant something was the fight against the abyss recently but due to the nature of natlan it obviously would have ended fine. Mavuika is in a similar predicament to Xiao where her death would make sense but would serve better alive.
I can feel it, the AQ gonna break me, because this already made me cry... Btw, if you didn't notice the signs during the motorcycle scene counts the years, so she wasn't unconscious during her "death" aka, another human forced to suffer in solitude for 500 years... Also, I know this isn't the right time, but Tupac be lookin' fine 😳😍
7:24 this has to be her inner mind. "The sun never sets" means the battle against the abyss isn’t over. And living for 500 years almost made her lose her mind and memories of those she cares about. Thankfully, mavuika remembered her sister hine’s encouragement
"She looks so tired" Yea bro she's been driving for 500 years xD Think of the longest road trip you've ever been on and then multiply it by your entire life x5
Now we know why she has this bike... had to ride through miles of road for over 5 centuries... (just joking) Sad though I'm more interested in her story quest now❤
im so glad it wasnt just bad writing... mavuika seemed so emotionless and flat in the archon quests to me but its no wonder. she seems like a robot that only exists to complete its duty which is a death flag. ill be disappoined if hyv doesnt actually have the balls to kill off a major character at least once like cmon man
