My first automatic watch was a Zeppelin Flatline. Had for about 5-6 years now. My main suit watch. Love it. The trap was this odd leather with a clasp thing that just didn't work very well. I ve changed a strap and it just great.
These are very very good watches! They are unique and superb quality. Usually for this money you will get a Rolex "homage" watch but for the same amount of money you can get a Zeppelin which isn't trying to be like any other watch brand. There's not really a price for that in the watch market! I have one of these watches so this is why I'm saying this. Also I own a Breitling and Oris costing significantly more than the Zeppelin, however, I always get more comments on the Zeppelin! These watches also look so good on a mesh strap! Also, I have monitored Long Island Watches for a while and they really do have an outstanding reputation. They know the market and more importantly they know watches! TGV recommends them and that should be good enough for anyone! Love the reviews from Long Island Watches, they get it bang on all the time every time!

The LZ129 is a watch I have had my eye on for a while now. The power reserve indicator is a superb complication that I do like on my watches. Such a classic looking dress watch. Good review and camera work...as usual.
I have the LZ 129 and I love it. The thin twisted minute hand is stylish. Love the power reserve design. Videos of this watch always make the dial look too yellow, but in person it's very elegant.
I just received my Zeppelin 7642-5 from L.I.Watch today (Feb 2020) and it looks even better in real life. The video doesn't do this watch justice. The dial is indeed a cream or ivory color, and the silver steel case shines beautifully. The central 24 hr dial is outlined in an extremely thin silver steel outline that flashes in the light when the watch is moved around. The hands are not just black. They have the thinnest imaginable outline of silver steel that shimmers in the light. The Arabic numerals on the dial look like they were just painted a moment ago and the ink is not yet dry. This gives a shiny, 3D aspect to the numerals. The leather strap is quite comfortable for a brand new strap. Great watch, great price (even in Canadian dollars).
Just ordered my first Zeppelin watch today the blue moon phase. To be honest Iike them all. Provided all goes well I will probably buy another in the future.

It's not easy to set, but I still like it. I buy the Zeppelin Hindenburg LZ 129 Moonphase. From my experience with it, the only problem You will have when You change the batery or winter solstice. But, I enjoy the watch, it's nice.

The hesalite glass for LZ129 is actually better than sapphire for daily use because you can easily remove scratches from hesalite using PolyWatch while you can't for sapphire/mineral crystal
Zep and Junkers are kinda same... I thought Zeppelin is higher on the pyramid of German watches, but instead, same movements, case design. Am I missing something?

It's not easy to set, but I still like it. I buy the Zeppelin Hindenburg LZ 129 Moonphase. From my experience with it, the only problem You will have when You change the batery or winter solstice. But, I enjoy the watch, it's nice.

The moon phase quartz should’ve eliminated the second hand. Looks messy as all the hands are the same black color.
