    As this video is quite recent it might be worth mentioning that if you use version 4 of MidJourney the quality code [ --q ] value is between 0,25 and 2.
    The --q 5 works only with version 3

      Yes, good point! Hopefully they introduce higher levels soon enough, I know they've been rolling things out in V4 lately so fingers crossed. Thank you for the info!

    I would recommend before you even start adding prompts to use the /prefer suffix command before you start playing around, there seems to be a few issues with new accounts where the bot keeps saying it didn't respond and this seems to fix it, along with ctrl+r on the discord room to reset and refresh, especially if you have logged in from another account recently. These two have fixed any issues I have had using the bot.

    I'm brand new to exploring Midjourney but I'm already blown away by how revolutionary this will be. It's going to undercut "economy" artists in the same way AI writing tools are cutting the knees out from low-budget SEO copywriters. I'd imagine as these technologies rapidly advance, the quality of AI output will climb the value ladder until only the most skilled writers and illustrators will still have the capability of earning a living with their creations.
    Until then, there's a transitionary period where those of us writers and visual artists can capitalize on our editing skills to take AI creations (I won't call them "art") and edit to a quality that's indistinguishable from original artwork.
    We're all living in an epochal shift, a complete industrialization into the Knowledge Age. Massive disruption for all of us, and only the adaptable will "survive".

    • @WadeMcMaster

      @@WadeMcMaster You're not wrong, good sir. But I don't know if we've experienced technological change at quite this rapid pace ever before in recorded human history. We're privileged to be alive at this time.

    Great tutorial mate! If you use your own images which are high res for printing in MJ then upscale, then if necessary with software outside the platform how does the quality translate? Is there a limit on image size when putting it in MJ? Would I be better using SD and dreambooth if I'm adding in my own images? Thanks for the vid, new sub 🙂

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think mj shrinks the image, i could be wrong. But the final result wont be fullsize. To get higher res sd may be better

    I have been getting a problem when I want to invoke two different characters that they seem to become a blend of each other instead of person A and person B... is this something I can fix with even weighting? Eg. Person A:: 2 fighting Person B:: 2 in a forrest::1 or is it more to do with specific wording? Thanks

      Im not sure, try --no cropping --no black bars etc. I know its an issue they try to fix.

    Great and informative video. Thx. Basic question from newbie… how to i upload an actual pic and make an almost identical AI image. I want to bring in my son’s face

      That can be really tough with midjourney. But you can try combining image uploads, and adding a descriptive prompt? This video shows how: th-cam.com/video/80nu7byJHJM/w-d-xo.html
      Otherwise you could try inpainting with dall e?

    Super nice vidoe! :)
    What if I want more then one? Like "Beautiful party balloons --no text, --q5, --testp" or how dose that work? The only way for more then one is to do "Perfer option set"?

      @WadeMcMaster  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh, justbadd them.all at the very end, no commas like "beautiful party balloons --no text --q5 --testp"

    Hey wade can i make a character and name it and then call it whenever i need it , and make it do different things by applying different commands, cz i m thinking of making a comic series.

      It may be really difficult, but you can experiment with uploading the character image to get a more consistent reference.

    AT 13:12 on your video, you show an arrow that I can't find anywhere. At no time can I get all my images to even load. When I hit the 'home' page all I see are other people's photos. I can't even get the left side panel to show that you have on the backing up of photos section. Was there another step to get here? I ask, for I saw a quick flash, but can't seem to figure out what caused it. Thank you
