I swear to God, this game used to be about something. It was about a boy who was dating the Devil's daughter, and he has to have multiple singing battles to the death with various assassins hired by the Devil. And those assassins were all characters from other Newgrounds games and stuff. The game wasn't always just a platform for weird-ass, wildly unrelated mods, but here we are!
Well duh, the game is under development (as far as I still know) and the mods are really the only thing keeping it alive. Unfortunately, it’s just people who don’t know how to make great mods left for the most part.
Just so you know. Daddy Dearest isn't THE Devil. He's a demon. Has a demon wife and his daughter who is dating a Human. And they have to deal with shenanigans. Just note not everyone is trying to kill him. Week 2 was The Spooky Kids from Spooky Month.

Also apparently Week 8 takes place before Week 3 as Pico, Nene and Darnell fight over who gets to reward money. Week 4, BF meets Mommy, Don't know anything else really. Week 5, Now it's Christmas and BF battles both GF's Parents, then Monster shows up, sings about wanting to eat both BF and GF, of course doesn't happen. Week 6, BF and GF enter Hating Sim, a Dating Simulator, and battle Senpai who wants to date GF and wants her to gargle his balls. After the 2nd song, it turns out Senpai had a Spirit inside him. This Spirit was trapped in the game by Daddy Dearest and wants to get out of the game. Of course he loses the battle and presumably stays in the game. And Week 7 finally, BF battles Tankmen, I don't think they were hired by Daddy Dearest, just both GF and BF somehow got here I guess. Btw, Both GF and BF are just really, really stupid in the OG game. Fanon Versions of these characters are way different from the original game.

That first (didn't check to see if there were others) Fnaf mod, in the firat 5 seconds of actual gameplay, made my skin itch and my mind tried to drown it out with the memories of the the sound of glass shattering.
The FNF community is a role of the dice like any community. You will get some greedy ass content farm shit, but you can also get some stuff that has wonderful effort into that people put their time in because they just wanna have fun. It’s the same with any community really… I feel like people judge before they can fully dive into what something truly means, and what joy it bring.
We should all appreciate the fact that Phil looked at all of the banger fnf mods and decided to not play them in order to suffer playing the worse ones to give us entertainment. actually fun fact: fnf vs. freddy actually made a full mod called: fnf vs fnaf 1 which the songs are hella better and there is so much more content (like original weeks song, best song is the g.freddy one aka happiest day) but ye the original vs freddy was a cool concept, but the mod sucks, im actually pretty happy that the fnaf 1 mod was made (and the fnaf 2 mod as a sequel. they are both really well done, i suggest you to play them, not in public if you dont want to, but in your freetime i recommend to play them)
Honestly, aside from THAT mod, most of this wasn't _really_ all that cringy. Mostly there was just a bunch of bad songs that weren't particularly noteworthy and some surprisingly good stuff.

Despite a lot of cringe, there were actually a few nice mods, pretty edgy, but they had a lot of effort put into them.
There are a lot of super high quality mods out there, unfortunately these mods (besides ourple guy) are what most people see.

actually fun fact: fnf vs. freddy actually made a full mod called: fnf vs fnaf 1 which the songs are hella better and there is so much more content (like original weeks song, best song is the g.freddy one aka happiest day) but ye the original vs freddy was a cool concept, but the mod sucks, im actually pretty happy that the fnaf 1 mod was made (and the fnaf 2 mod as a sequel. they are both really well done, i suggest you to play them, not in public if you dont want to, but in your freetime i recommend to play them)
Honestly, aside from THAT mod, most of this wasn't _really_ all that cringy. Mostly there was just a bunch of bad songs that weren't particularly noteworthy and some surprisingly good stuff.
