Ten (10) CHARACTERISTICS OF ALLAH AND JESUS
We shall consider how Jesus claimed the very title that is attributed to Almighty God alone
1. Who is the First and the last?
In Quran - Sura ta Hadith 57:3, 92:13; Allah claimed to be first and the last
In old testament text - Isaiah 41:4, 48 v 12, 43:13; God is the first and the last
In new testament text - Rev 21:6 - 7; God the father is the first and the last and also Rev 1 v 17 - 18, 2:8; Jesus God the son is the first and the last, because he is the one who was dead, resurrected and now alive forevermore.
2. Who is the All knowing that is omniscent?
In Quran; Sura 57 v 8 - Allah claimed to be all knowing
In old testament text - God alone know all things in Psa 44:21
In New testament gospel - John 15 v 25 - 31 and 21:17; Jesus knowing all things before and after his resurrection respectively
3. Who can forgive sin except God alone?
In quran; Sura 3 v 135 - Allah claimed only him can forgive sin.
In the old testament scripture - God alone forgive sin in Isa 43:25, Psa 103:2 - 4
In new testament gospel; Mark 2:5 - 10 - Jews confirmed only God can forgive sin as Jesus Christ God in the flesh forgives sins as the same God of old testament, though not he is the Father but the Son

Allah claimed to be the light in sura 24:35 and also Allah and his angels prays for believer to bring them from darkness to light in sura 33:43.

Jesus is the way or straight path in Joh 14:6

Allah claimed to be worship through believers praying to him - sura 40 v 60 & 65
Believers are commanded to prays to Jesus, so their prayers can be answer by Him in Joh 16 v 23 and can also prays through him to the his Father in Joh 15:16
This means you can not approach God the Father accept you pray to or through Jesus in power of the holy Spirit.
