I have a question. That arm that is threaded gets bicep/forearm sliced when I weave it through on some guys. I avoid any pass like this because of that threat. It seams the deeper my arm is, the harder the slicer comes on, and I can't pull my arm out. Can this pass be done without losing my arm?

I've never seen anyone get bicep sliced from there. From what I'm imagining, however, you are letting their top leg and knee get free instead of smothering it with your body, leading to a bicep slicer.
If you can't stop it, let go of their bottom leg and circle your hand out to grab their belt or far hip as soon as their knee gets free. Keep your head and shoulder low to trap the ankle of their knee shield leg against their butt. You should be able to continue the pass from there.
