Hi DLX, I just want to share something I discovered, regarding the low volume on android in particular. Here's what I've tried aside from tweaking the equalizer. On android you have to enable developer options and turn off the disable absolute volume, now my pk5 is loud even with the old fw! and volume control is now in sync with the speaker! It is now with booming bass and loud!

My PK5 won't make any sound. The battery is ok, and the bluetooth is fine, and I can connect with there app and it has the latest software... the lights even 'dance' to the music...BUT...regardless of cabled or BT connection, I can't hear anything even though volume ios turned up..... It's been fine for 2 years... Any ideas anyone???
Unfortunately they both dont have enough Deep Bass at 70 Hz and below. Now LG boosted loudness and i think the upper Bass - so still less full and warm deep bass. Its a pity , i think the hardware has much more potential. Apart from that: Great Video as always, THX ! 🙋🏻♂️
shaun m yeah! I managed to find one person who has a android phone right after my comment. Forgot to give an update. But it's sorta dumb for LG to not put any focus in their IOS users. When we still have a very high percentage of the market. This also falls within their sound bars and such. Appreciate for you to take the time to reply. I would have been stuck if I wasn't thinking about using a Android device.
Hello everyone, NEED HELP !! I have installed the Music Flow Bluetooth app on my iPhone to update the firmware but the app is not registering that I have connected to the Bluetooth. It’s stuck on the front page asking me to connect my phone to the PK7 even tho I have and playing audio through the speakers. Any advice to solve this issue ? R.
DLX, can you review the Soundcore Rave Mini? I love my PK7 and this just makes it better. I use it for romantic moments with my lady so I don't need it to be loud, I have my Sony Gtk-Xb5 for that.

William Vargas I later found out that the lg app only works on android, not for iOS yet, kinda wired they have a app released for iOS but it doesn’t even work yet.
Xb41 is too boxy and muffled. I auditioned it 5x and tried to tweak it via music center but still it doesn't sound right. I really wanted to buy it but my denon envaya 250 wipes the floor with the sony in terms of sound. The LG pk5 and 7 is for people who loves to tweak their sound and are good at using an equalizer.

In 2023 is there a way to update the firmware? I have a PK7 and the XBoom app doesn't support it and the Music Flow app is no longer available?
Saw them beside JbL xtreme 2 in currys, I tried both and was disappointed with JBL to be honest

Music flow IOS App doesn’t connect with the PK7. This is a losing update for any Apple users.
John Washington same situation here so I downloaded the app to my partners android phone and do the update that way.
