I carry a multitool, traditional, and modern pocket knife everyday. For the past 2 weeks or so I have replaced the folder with a pocket fixed blade. I made a new pocket fixed blade and sheath just for this. As the weather cools down and I wear a bigger long sleeve shirt I'll carry the fixed blade horizontal on the belt. When that happens the folder just may go back in the pocket too! The multitool of choice is a modified Leathrman P2, P4, or ARK. You know me I have to mod everything.😁
I picked up a couple first gens gerber multi tools back some 20 years ago,, Last weekend, grandson and I routined them ( they’ve been in our vehicles all these years) ,,, wow, what a difference in performance!!! a little cleaning and oiling does. I could hardly stop the grandson from flicking those Gerbers out!!!
I tend to carry the same thing all seasons, but then, I am retired and all the stuff I do does not change with the season. Old Leatherman Wave (pre replaceable cutters), ext. and bits... and flashlight on my belt and Queen stockman in my pocket...and an array of other stuff too :D Over-prepared Jedi limping along with a cane....thanks for the vid....Jim
I switch edc knives a lot so whatever the rotation happens to be I usually grab. I do some winter camping and for that occasion I take a Schrade Extreme plus a snow cave knife which I carry in the car all winter.
The cooler it gets, the larger the blades and tools need to be because of clothes and gloves. I’m with Jersey, and enjoy a belt knife like 110, jumbo trapper , western 62 etc and a multitool like titanium charge or king surge, plus I use a flashlight a lot more.
I’m one of those guys that carries both😆The Rebar has been my go-to multi tool for the warm months for the past couple of years, I’ve got it on my belt today👍But in the winter, I carry a big ol’ Supertool 300. Cheers, buddy!

Not much of a winter usually here in Fla. A multitool does make a great edc specially if one is always tinkering, thanks for sharing them, Pete.
