Bloons is quite the experience, never would have I thought I would be scared to death when I see 20 heart shaped and multicoloured bloons coming towards me at mach 1
The Vengeful Sun God was in BTD5 as well in the form of an ability unlocked when a maxed Super Monkey Lair is obtained. Also agents in BTD5 DID have a leveling system, but it was only one level-up and it was permanent.
Its pretty interesting seeing the new bloon types introduced throughout the series. The original lead balloon was added when the go to strat for 1 was to spam dart monkeys. Ceramics and MOABs introduce a barrier to pure piece towers, requiring to go into some things with more damage. We then see purples a lot later on to present a hazard to some of the more powerful magic and fire towers, now creating an incentive for a good mix of sharp and explosive/fire.
funnily enough: while BTD2 makes a point of saying "you can't beat this game with only dart monkeys" BTD5 and onward can be beaten with only dart monkeys, thanks to the existence of Juggernaut
@SoukaTempest i mean if every tower could pop every balloon type through the whole game there wouldnt be much challenge. Its an obstacle same as lead or camo you need to account for

BMC is the one that keeps me hooked for months. Building a city is a concept that I really enjoy. I'm still looking forward for BMC2, even knowing that that project is not on top of Ninja Kiwi's priorities.
Bloons is still nostalgic to me. I love coming back to the classic bloons games (mainly bloons TD4). I'm probably so nostalgic either because how simple it is,the mass of tower defense back then,or the fact using super monkey is fun.Thanks for going over the series.

I believe that Jack is the person who priortises staying on the island over getting off the island while Ralph believes they should get off the island immediately. BTD4 is basically what skyrocketed the bloons series to popularity, and unlike some other older games like angry birds or plants vs zombies, it was continuously innovative and the quality of each new game became better and better rather than either becoming cheap heavily inspired knockoffs or obvious money grabs
I think the new Jaloon remix of Tribes and Tribulations that got added in version 32.0 is a good contender (both are my nr.1 spot for fav bloons music)9

No btd6 came out less than 4 weeks before Adventure time. My first btd game was btd4 and I have played every btd game since (except btd Adventure time)
This game is actually unkillable and i’m convinced, I still see the game being played every once in a while by random people on the street, the game is just amazing.

ngl btd adventure time is my jam for mobile. But there was a bloons game I had in the 2010-2011 where it was on my i-touch it was a super monkey that flies around and pops bloons and you upgrade by collecting cash/gems (colored sparkly balls) I honestly forgot the name of that one LOL but that was my jam in high school LOL
was looking for games for psp before i buy a psp. there were 2 bloons games for absolutely no reason, they were original bloons and bloons td 3. it didnt even have a touch screen. (never really played any bloons games myself)

BTD4 is the first BTD game I ever played and it's still my favorite BTD game till this day. I just have so much fun with it back when I was a kid.
