One Ok Rock is one of the best bands! They did day shows too, most are one-man lives though. I think one of their most epic day-shows was Nagisaen live in 2016, which was 2 days with crowd capacity 110,000 ppl.
What is amazing about this performance is that it was the first time the song had just been released and performed. taka had not yet fully memorized the lyrics, but sang through the song with this quality.
oor prefer to play during the day slots for japanese music festivals for some reason. they're also like never the actual headliner despite their popularity. highest they've been listed is just below the headliners. it is funny to follow what's happening on the ground during oor's set at these festivals though because they basically attract such a large crowd that there are no lines for food or merch.

I love Taka's voice, he has great technique and sensibility and on stage he is an incredible performer. But personally I don't think his voice is as perfect as you say... Taka has a very powerful voice in the mid and high ranges, but I have always felt that he lacks strength in the low range, which is where many hard rock and metal singers stand out. No matter how good he is, his voice is not suited for pure metal songs in the Galneryus, Unlucky Morpheus or Lovebites style, just to mention a few Japanese metal bands.

No matter how good he is, his voice is not suited for pure metal songs in the Galneryus, Unlucky Morpheus or Lovebites style, just to mention a few Japanese metal bands.
He has a metallic tenor type of voice, so I think this is the reason.
