As far as samples and polyphony and wanting things to cut off the best is to use Legato. 1 is good but it’s not as clean as legato. - tip for maschine users

Sweet tutorial, really love the massive variety choices for drums on Maschine, it’s nice to have some techniques to tweak them a bit. If you apply these techniques and your drums don’t knock, you need better speakers.
Sometimes , if i'm not diligent and focused, watching guys like Boris makes me wanna go find other passions/hobbies

Quite ironic that NI should make a video about drums knocking harder - since most of their expansions sound flat and overprocessed af when it comes to drums, especially when compared to similar expansions from Akai.
Please do something more about maschine + software update, like custom chords, ways to add more multisample instruments automically when you put these files in card ( autosample is very good but there are lots of already sampled instruments out there on the internet ), dj mode or even auto tune or vocal stuffs, and yes I do record my vocal to my maschine +. I use maschine+ only in standalone mode when I make beats and I will be a lot happier if you guys add more things in the next update.

The Waves sampler finds the root note of the sample so it's in tune when you play it.

I think it's because he knows the sales comparisons, and doesn't want Mk3 users to get a complex , like he feels empathy for them or something 😂

Hello, amazing video! I have a question. When I hear sounds in the search area where all my samples are, I can hear them with their full and clear sound but when I put them in any pad they are soft, light and barely heared. If I turn the volume all the way up it is still not the same sound. Does anyone know what is happening and how I can fix it? Thanks
Well, do you have fixed velocity on? what is the fixed velocity value, try to turn this one up maybe its that
I have the same problem all the time...the sound is super punchy or crisp then when you load it in it loses all it's power even different tones... I've noticed that by playing the first button on the MK3 is sometimes different from the note on the keyboard weird....but the samples do lose all power when you load them up I don't understand it but it happens every time unless you layer!!! Native Instruments can you explain why!!!!?

I am a newbie considering the MK3. I will be a 100% sample-based beat maker, focusing exclusively on making boom bap beat production. Does the MK3 have the key detection feature that Akai has on their new generation machines? Lastly, does anyone think NI will be updating the MK3 this year? Thank you to all.
Doubtful that we’ll get any serious update any time soon, and even without key detection, it’s usually easy and fast to just pick a minor scale in key mode and press “semitone +1” until it’s correct. Usually takes about 30 seconds for me to find the key of any sample
From there just pick parallel major or keep it in minor!

Hey guys, in 1:54min do you know which button he pressed ?? I was thinking about quantize button but i'm not sure maybe variation navigate to Humanize.
I think he pressed the quantise button, with the grid set to a triplet measure.. 90% sure.. at least that is what I'd have done.

Sorry I'm beginner, in 0:59 min we have the beat in 92 bpm and Boris reworked on it in 60 bpm with triplets during all video.
So in this case can we finish one beat in 60 bpm and after change to 92 bpm and everything will be fine ??
will be a 92 bpm triplet feeling beat.. all the stuff you have played will be put in on the new tempo, the only issue you may have is that samples (not the Audio plug in but just the sampler) will not be time synced with the project.. but if you have audio (plug-in) and midi, all should move to the new tempo.

The harsh limiting/compression on this guy's voice made me reach to lower the volume three times before I quit watching just after a minute in.
That is why I got off this platform. Placebo. Those drums STILL don't knock HARD. An FL Studio producer will take your placement if we talking kicks and 808. Fruity Clipper and say goodnight Maschine MK3! No loooong Genre bending techno bop. HARD Trap drums and CLEAN melodies that get efx later. BTW I'm on my MPC X 😎
