Thoroughly enjoyed the vid.
Same old uk thought process when it comes to rifle calibre though.
I shoot in the mountains of NZ.
I use 25-06 with 117g hornady SST.
Anything out to 600m is dead.
I have shot Chamois,Bull Tahr,Red stags and wild west coast cattle.
shot placement is Nirvana and constant hunting is how you get there.

Great Video. For Mountain Hunt You Could have Chosen the Sako Carbonwolf. Same Rifle But in Carbon Fiber and just weights 2,7 kg

Congratulations on your first chamois and the beautiful vide! As a lifelong chamois hunter in the Swiss Alps it's always fun to watch hunters who are unfamiliar with such kind of hunting.
For me it's total normality, going with my grandfather& father when I was a kid and now together with my brother. Getting up very early and hike 1000+ vertical meters up above tree level to find chamois and trying to catch one. Lugging all the equipment, sweating like mad, finding some animals, deciding if huntable, planning the stalk, executing it, and with luck being successful. Carrying the chamois back down for hours to the nearest road and getting back to the hut around midnight, utterly exhausted. Sleeping for four to five hours, rinse and repeat.
It's total madness, but worth every bloody minute of suffering.

I agree. If you freeze while hunting you are either stupid or poor ;-) Al Yankovic in his movie UHF looks a bit like you.
