It would be nice if they were on model but the tobacco advertising ban doesn’t allow it,even though they are adult models… It’s annoying,I’ve got a number of Aussie 1/18s that have censored liveries from Brock,Moffat,Richards ,Grice,Longhurst,Johnson and Seton.
A couple of newsagents I have spoke to,they have told me the supplies have been inconsistent. One week they’ll get 8 of them,the next they’ll get 4. I think the company behind magazine,didn’t expect them to be so popular.
I'm lucky that my local Newsagent knows me well as he keeps my reserved models So I've got all 8 As he's finding it hard receiving all the orders he places The supplier definitely underestimated how popular this series is.And the price is great for 1/43 models. But I've heard that the supplier will be doing back orders as I think it's a shame when collector's miss out .
@@JeffreyGrant-fy9xnI wasn’t worried about missing the HK Monaro and XC Cobra,as I already a red HG GTS 350 which looked similar to the HK and the I have 3 different Biante XC Cobras. When I picked the Sandman up yesterday from local newsagent,I put my name down on their list to have I put away.
@@JeffreyGrant-fy9xn I was speaking to a woman that works at the model shop where I buy 1/18s and other 1/43s from about how cheap IXOs 1/18s are … I got a Volvo 240T and is the 1986 touring car championship winner of Robbie Francevic.At $165 they are cheap for a 1/18 of an Aussie race car. I always pre order the 1/18 and 1/43 models I want,as you miss out otherwise.The shop I lets me lay-by,so don’t have to pay for them straight away. I’ve missed out on a couple of 1/18 DJR Supercars lately that I didn’t pre-order … Authentic collectables made them in ridiculously low numbers.
I’ll have to have a look,that is possible but for a 1/43 diecast that cost $14.95,it’s not to bad … I just won’t display it with my Biante versions of the E49.

I wasn’t going to get the HK Monaro as similar to a red HT Monaro GTS 350 I have but found one at a Newsagent a month ago for $7.95 still.

The 2 other orange Chargers in this video are by Biante.They used to do a fair range of 1/43s and 1/64s too,I have some other Biante 1/43 road cars and Dick Johnson race cars + a few 1/64 DJs. I guess they weren’t popular or maybe not profitable enough for Biante?

Those magazine models are scarce now; since I got the Cobra at the newsagents, the only other one I've seen is issue one's Monaro.

The ixo Charger's rear window is too small.

@MarksDiecastAndResinScale totally agree, I have every car so far except for the XY. That delivery was actually stolen from the newsagent.
