Cedric Lorch I doubt you’re still active on this account, but I figured “what the hell” I’ve always been curious as to how these live concerts are rehearsed. Were the practices really intense, did you have to go through the whole movie each time? Or did on some days you only practiced some segments. How long would you say it takes to organize something like this, finding the people, getting the rights, finding a space? Must be a nightmare. Sorry to bombard you with questions, but how did it make you feel when the audience would clap when the credits started. Were you annoyed or happy? I have no music background so these may seem like incredibly stupid questions, but I was curious nonetheless.
I’ve been to see Star Wars A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Titanic and Nightmare Before Christmas live in concert. But man. What would I give to see Lord of the Rings live in concert!
I saw Empire live a few years ago. Hearing the Imperial theme for the first time it's played in the movie is great. Nothing will top Howard Shore with this trilogy's score.
God, I loved this film. The first one is my favourite, the music, story, characters, scenery, everything about it just top notch. I may just watch this film again soon.
I have heard this in many ways and played by many orchestras ... ... But the final minutes have blown me away ... ... tears - so suddenly - so out of nowhere ... Great ending - this conductor is a real artist of a great orchestra !!! ❤
@@PlanetoftheApesfan-ug1hx Of course he is! I meant to say that it is very hard to make the music of an artist/composer sound like the maestro would do it him/herself. Wicki did an amazing job in that respect. I had the pleasure to witness him in several performances.
I guarantee that we will never gonna see a movie like this ever ever again. Enjoy while you can cuz this is, a masterpiece❤
The whole trilogy is a dream ❤ Peter Jackson and team achieved sheer magic.
I remember that tour as it was yesterday. I was behind the violins. It was a once in a lifetime tour I had.

If only I could download this version
i can watch this vid a 100 times in a week and still cry every time
Applauding just as the choir starts for the credits is sin.
I'm so glad there was finally an official concert for LOTR that did the end credit music exactly right!
Which part exactly?
Great work, Harvey.
Love every part of Lord of the Rings!
What an amazing track following an amazing film!
Beautiful
That choir at the end makes me feel a certain way.
When the cold of winter comes, Starless night will cover day!!! goosepumbs
What a great performance and a wonderful crowd for cheering them!
beautiful!!!!!
Ah, Howard Shore
Where can i find the melody that plays at the start of credits before may it be
I'm not sure I understand the question.
@@brombergj the melody that starts playing right when the credits start rolling what is it called?
@@lesenfantsterribles6437 it's concerning hobbits
It's the last part of "The Road Goes Ever On Part 1".
It's a pensive setting of the Shire theme played on most likely an Abbel brand tin whistle
thats why i never go to crowd watching anything
crowds always ruin the best parts
What do you mean by that?
@@brombergj2 the crowd clapped into the ending credits with the best music bit (directed by + voices) ruining it in the process.
I am gonna do the same and I will be singing in the boys choir 😂🎉❤

is the conductor Howard Shore himself?? :)
Ludwig Wicki, did an amazing job...one of the few that can really make an orchestra sound as it should...

W.O.W.!
Awesome!!! n.n
is the conductor Justin Freer ?
No Ludwig Wicki
No...
Man they need to replace that kid who sings in dreams. He has trouble hitting those high notes.
