when I made a call, the microphone works properly. When using voice memo, just flat line, no record of any sound or voice. when using the front or rear camera, it records voice properly. When I make a call and turn on the speaker, it didn't work and nobody hears what I say to microphone. So it doesn't look like as hardware, but a software problem.
Yes, I tried a number of different external microphones going into my lightning port on my new iPhone 14 Pro Max and none work in Beastcam. They don't show up in Filmic Pro.

Also the recordings from the voice memos app work perfectly so I think maybe voice memos uses the mic up near the front facing camera and not the one beside the charging port? Just a thought

chotunab Bro, You can try cleaning the Mic and also your cover is not blocking the mic hole. If it does not fix the issue, you can take you phone to Apple Care, as it can be a hardware issue.😊
So my microphone works absolutely fine but if I’m on a calling (any call) & let’s say I’m doing something and I happen to hold the phone with my head and my shoulder the other person just can’t hear me.

@@EjazKun Yes. I give it to Apple service and they COMPLETELY wipe iPhone to factory rest. Then it works again properly.
@@EjazKun it was a software problem. Normal reset Iphone didn't help. They use some software to wipe it completely
