But it's not for everyone, so it'll likely be one of the most underrated songs in the album, along with Nothing Compares and Escape From LA (my personal favorites). However, it's not the best song of 2020. Physical, The Box, Blinding Lights and Dynamite are more competent for that tittle.

Precisely what I was thinking and feeling when I listened to this album during the quarantine. I couldn't get enough.
Awards are more a method of control and manipulation than a recognition of merit...these days. The future is unwritten and is not just a continuation of the past. Even today in other spheres like maths and physics that don't always require a large influx of cash, the greatest disciveries are by those who were disenfranchised by their establishment peers...at least initially. Grigory Perelman and Juan Maldacena for examples. Capitalist money ( which the rich print out of thin air effectively through leveraged loans that they pass on the debt to u) has the same effect as these corrupt awards...just a lever of control in a corrupt system that unless u get lucky and breakthrough...will only hurt u. Any genuine talent that cannot be brought or bought to kneel will be seen as a threat to established rentier class control....and squashed.

The lyrics are insane, the beat is awesome, his voice flowing through it... Faith is by far the best song in After Hours. But it's not for everyone, so it'll likely be one of the most underrated songs in the album, along with Nothing Compares and Escape From LA (my personal favorites).
However, it's not the best song of 2020. Physical, The Box, Blinding Lights and Dynamite are more competent for that tittle.
It is so rare nowadays for artists to provide such a deep-rooted musical experience. There is a remarkable level of passion, honesty, and love for music in The Weeknd. This deserves a sincere and grand appreciation. Apparently, a few "experts" have chosen to ignore this. After Hours is not just a music album, it is a movie of a broken man who is being as honest as anyone.

He put his heart and soul in this album and knew if he put it this specific circumstances in March it would flop, but it didn’t it sold amazing, top R&B of all time. He also put his all in this performance and has been working his ass off this year, but the Grammys still snub him. This dude deserves Grammys on Grammys.
Seeing people try and claim that ‘it’s an artist show, he doesn’t write his own music he’s just a performer so that’s why he was snubbed’ is ridiculous as well.
Album of the year isn’t dependant on whether you wrote it all the tracks yourself. Most music ‘artists’ don’t write their own music. They want to make a song about a relationship, a story etc. And then half the time they contact other writers or small studios who make melodies and beats and the ‘artist’ just makes the lyrics...that literally describes just about the majority of most albums. Dua lipa doesn’t write/create 100% of each track she makes, she’ll have people around her who help make each track, billie eillish has most of her tracks written by her brother. Goes for every singer/artist/group
Cannot believe after hours wasn’t nominated. It’s possibly the most consistent album I’ve ever listened too, not that it needs an award to validate that but it shows the lack of credibility these award shows really have.
