This is fantastic!! In 10 minutes, you've managed to explain something that my professor hasn't been able to do in an entire semester. Thank you.
"...remember to balance the centrifuge!" #1 message from this video! Great job everyone! I love the triumphant music and narration at the end - the plasmid DNA is isolated!
What an exquisite way to explain the process of plasmid DNA extraction from a bacteria, the best I have seen so far.
Amazing! I usually spend at least 72 hours of research to understand the purpose of every step explained here because of my failing professors and TAs.
This is by far the best lab video I've ever watched! Usually all the vids I find are really boring. Thank you for making it interesting
You are too awesome Katie. The process is very clearly and enthusiastically explained - great animations too! Thank you for this it has been very helpful.
Johanna Amunjela Thank you so much! I am glad the video was helpful and you enjoyed it.

I was totally lost while rushing through this procedure in lab. This video explained everything so clearly! Thank you!
Still relevant till today, thank you all.
This video definitely needs thumbs up... easy and straightforward steps...
I think this is great educational video out there. It shows simple process at first, and then goes over actual process explaining what is going on in detail. I find this really helpful.
I have been searching the whole net for the for the rationale behind each steps and most of them are just steps without the theory behind. This is a great video. Helped me a lot. thanks!
This was one of the most helpful videos I've watched on TH-cam. Thank you so much!

Sorry but I didn't understand this: For example, potassium acetate lowers the pH. Why does this only renaturate the plasmid DNA while the chromosomal DNA falls off?

REALLY THANKS. Just a question. How quickly should we work? how much allowable time between the steps is? can I do this procedures for 20 samples?
